2021 UGA played more ranked teams than 2017 bama. In fact, since 2017 UGA has played more top 25 and top 10 regular season games. It’s probably due to Bama’s laughable OoC.

I’m not sure which is more confusing:
Saying Stetson is a better QB than Young
Or
Saying Georgias schedule last year was hard. Yes, Clemson was ranked high when you played. Then everyone saw they were a pretty average team. You had a great team but that schedule was nothing special. Buts that football, not you fault You got Clemson at the right time.

3 ranked teams in the regular season is a decent schedule. A&M played a worse schedule in 2020 and cried about not making the playoffs.

And if the others conferences had done anything and Notre Dame was in the discussion, Georgia would have been left out of the playoff this year. And your fans would have been crying as well and it would have been justified. Lucky for you, you did not have to go up against the Notre Dame bias.

Notre Dame had 1 loss in 21 just like 20. The only difference is UGA actually had ranked wins while A&M didn’t. UGA also had one of the best point differentials in the modern era. Not sure why an A&M fan would even think the 2 were comparable.

We lost at Bama early in the season. You lost late.
Notre Dame didn’t deserve to be in the playoff the year before. Their showing in the rankings this year probably had some hangover from the year before.
We beat Florida who won the east.
You played Clemson who was average and Kentucky prior to losing to Bama.
So yes schedules are comparable and neither were special. Again you had a great team. You won it all. Beat two solid teams in the playoffs to do it. Not sure why you are wasting time saying your regular season schedule was difficult when it was not.

I think it was more difficult than 20 A&M’s schedule, but should be average for a playoff contender. If a team isn’t playing 3+ ranked teams in the regular season, they shouldn’t be going to the playoff.
