Ok.. what!!!!???

Stetson is a lot faster than Bryce Young., it’s not even a little close. Bryce is incredible at buying time in the pocket; but Stetson is elite on the run. He’s not Murray elite on the run, most are not; Lamar and Fields maybe the only ones close to the same speed and close is relative at that.

Murray has an electric arm. Bryce and Stetson both have great arms, but neither are lightning bolts.

I concur. That's the point about UGA has legit back to back titles. No issues there. But I do question "elite" because he's an adult playing against ~ young adults. I grew up running they have age brackets for a reason. Still he's a heck of a Qb and a great story but he wasn't elite at 20...21. which is where his competition is

He’s certainly an elite college QB.
Granted, he’s had 4-5 more years than most college starters to get good…but he did get good.

He will be hard to replace.

Y’all do realize that the great Hendon Hooker is not only just 80 days younger than SB13. But Also started for VA Tech for 2 years plus played his FR year before that. While SB was playing JUCO trying to get a look somewhere.

Yet no one has an issue with that.

Your problem isn’t his age; it’s that he has owned you for 2 damn years!

What 4-5 more years.

He walked on in 17 and ran scout team, not a 4-5 star scholly player running scout., a rudy style walk on playing scout

Was offered a Scholarship to stay at UGA and left to play JUCO in 18, just to get snaps., not FCS, not D2, not D3… JUCO.

Came back in 19 to back up stupid Fromm , because KS couldn’t decide between Fields and Fromm in 18.. whatever the hell that was.

Got bumped to 5th string leading into 20.. behind JTD (hurt), Newman(left), Mathis( can’t play), Beck( Tr FR), he got no snaps .. Zero and was told he wouldn’t play. He took snaps and threw passes to EE players at half of the spring game!

All he did was save UGAs a$$ against Arky and then beat AU & UT, till he got hurt.

Still got no reps in spring of 21.. none.. was but behind not only JTD, Beck, but BVG as well… Once again only to save UGAs a$$ and take the title..

Finally.., finally. He got to prepare as an actual option at QB for UGA in spring of 22 and this summer., actually work on timing, have an offense planned with his skill set in mind..

Y’all act like he started for 4 years and then took his covid year as well.. when in actuality he spent 18 months.., maybe.. getting actual coaching and preparation to be a college Qb.. maybe!

Stetson Bennett in the playoffs was looking safeties off and making reads and progressions like a seasoned pro and then throwing absolute darts into tight coverage. That last drive vs OSU was one of the most impressive drives I’ve ever seen. His throw to Bowers was better than elite. I truly believe Stetson not only will play at the next level but can succeed. His pocket awareness, quickness and ability to process what’s happening has become elite and he was truly the 5 star QB Georgia has been yearning for all these year. He’s a beast and every SEC team he shite on is just flexing their hatred.

He is a legit NFL prospect now. Mel has him at #8 recently.

By this logic Tom Brady is a shite QB. Thanks for letting me know you're a clown with lack of reason before I read anymore of your posts.

I know right. Georgia is a booming state. He will do well.

And he is closer than most college players to getting social security.

Nothing more.

So many salty comments. The fact is, Stetson Bennett did things on the football field this year (and last year) that were "elite" …age is irrelevant (there are players ranging from 18 to mid-20's on every team). The talent around him is irrelevant (a lot of other QB's have talent around them, also). Stetson led his team to Back to Back Championships. His last four quarters of play (fourth quarter against Ohio State, and the first three quarters against TCU) could be the best four quarters of play for any QB in all college football history.

I agree and his passing and play in the game Monday night was pretty damn good. Very accurate and total control of offense. He deserves the accolades.

Stetson Bennett is at his best when he’s doubted.

That's dictated by the level of competition. However, he did throw for what... 702yds for the CFP? Not compared to '20 Jones @ 761yds.... and JoeyB in '19 @ 956yds.
