He’s a mid to late round draft pick sorry he’s not elite. He’s surrounded by talent. Nothing more.

No one’s saying he’s an elite NFL QB. But if you can’t recognize that at the college level, Stetson Bennett is an elite QB, you’re either a hater or dumb.

190+ QB efficiency rating against AP rated teams in 2022.

cfbstats.com

That is just stupid good.

And to do that with "the worst wide receiver room" in the college football playoffs. Lol

His Oline was amazing.....

I wish him well....maybe he should chat with Burrow about the pass rush at the next level.

Some of those passes were in coverage and he put it right in their chest. He looked pretty good to me.

Elite college champion and MVP in playoff games over and over. Keep it up though. What you haters don’t realize is every weak attempt you make to downplay UGA or our players just gives us another chuckle. Your “gotchas” are hilarious to us.

It’s amazing how individuals are so eager and proud to show their ignorance for everyone to see. Thank you stet…you made those throws and those runs when it counted most.

The haters a gonna hate, but the numbers don't lie. In the end, it doesn't matter how many stars you have beside your name, it's getting it done on the field that counts. And Stetson has proven that he can get it done...time after time.

He is an elite college QB that doesn’t have the skill set to be elite at the next level. What he did was amazing. If I was him I’d take my Covid year and come back to UGA and try to win another one.

His college career suggests otherwise.

Everyone doesn’t think he has the skill set to be successful in the NFL. I don’t think skill set matters as much as people think it does. It is the ability to process information and make decisions that matters the most. We will find out if he can do that at an NFL level. There have been good short quarterbacks (Flutie). And good quarterbacks with noodle arms (Manning at the end of his career). I’m not going to say he won’t be successful in the NFL. Greater chance that he won’t be, but there is a chance he will succeed. He certainly made plays when needed in college.

I was on the Never Stet Bus through the UAB Game last season and then was amused by the Stet Bus through the Cocktail Party and at that point I jumped on board with the entire "game manager but not going to be drafted narrative". I, like many folks, was dead wrong....Bennett is elite in work ethic and desire and ability to learn and improve and those traits are not something that can come from anywhere other than inside....if he wants to be succesful at the next level it'd be a fool to bet against him. I took me about 5 weeks of betting against him to acceptance and then about 5 more weeks before realization set in that what we were seeing was completely out of the norm and nothing we know and accept applies when someone is committed to succeed like Bennett is. It is entirely up to him if he makes it in the NFL and again, only a fool would bet against it.

There are good college players and NFL players. Stetson was a college player surrounded by elite players.

He had a great career at UGA but his talent won’t transfer to the NFL.
