No one’s saying he’s an elite NFL QB. But if you can’t recognize that at the college level, Stetson Bennett is an elite QB, you’re either a hater or dumb.

There are a few QBs on current college rosters that I would take over Stetson. He has had a great career but to call him elite is just going to far.

What's funny is that a lot of the experts have Anthony Richardson as a top ten pick and Stetson Bennett as a 6th rounder or UFA. If you had the UGA team and could pick AR or SB to qb it, who would you chose?

Stetson Bennett is old. That's what you should have typed. He is a really good CFB QB Listen, it absolutely still counts as back to back for UGA but let's not pretend that a 25 yr old isn't generally physically and mentally more prepared than most 20yr olds in sports.

AR would have been much better had he played for UGA rather than Florida.

Age is irrelevant. Stetson was eligible. Anyone with eligibility could have played.

Anthony Richardson never really impressed me. Is he talented? Yes. Will he impress me at the next level? Maybe. But as of now, I would choose Stetson over him in a heartbeat.

He’s an elite college QB. Just because he’s not likely to amount to much in the NFL doesn’t take away from all that he did. I guess I’m selfish but I’d trade Peyton’s Super Bowls for national titles at UT

He’s a mid to late round draft pick sorry he’s not elite. He’s surrounded by talent. Nothing more.

Is Kyler Murray and Bryce young elite? Both are shorter than Stetson.

They have the arm and athleticism to mitigate their height issues. Bennett does not have either the arm or the legs to overcome his height.

The haters a gonna hate, but the numbers don't lie. In the end, it doesn't matter how many stars you have beside your name, it's getting it done on the field that counts. And Stetson has proven that he can get it done...time after time.

The best part, for me, is the same people that were shitting on Stetson for two years are now questioning how Georgia will fare in 2023 without him.

SBIV deserves all the accolades. He proved many people wrong, myself included. When I first became aware of him I considered him a serviceable SEC quarterback. Just a shade above mediocre. Certainly no one who would lead Georgia to the promised land. He went from the guy whose team won in spite of him to the guy whose team won because of him.

That is funny, but at least they came around.

Imagine being dumb enough to still shite on him.

Stetson Fleming Bennett IV (born October 28, 1997) is an American football quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs. Nicknamed "The Mailman," he started his career as a walk-on at Georgia before transferring to Jones County Junior College. Bennett transferred back to Georgia and won consecutive National Championships in 2022 and 2023.

You are not wrong.. completely factual.

However , that doesn’t apply to myself. I watched him play in high school. I wanted him to start since 2017.
