This somehow takes away from them getting blown out? You're doing some impressive mental gymnastics to try and discredit ASU's blowout loss while trying to make them world beaters for a good win.

How is it irrelevant?

Especially if you're going to say something like this.

Probably not, LSU is a bad matchup for us compared to teams like OM and MSU. We struggle stopping teams dedicated to running between the tackles and thrive against spread offenses.

We don't have the linebackers to contain Fournette.

That's so far away right now though. Soooooo much can go down between now and then.

188/game

Do we try run all the time like LSU, no.

We are actually pretty balanced.

Funny!!! They actually might.....

But Auburn was not a "signature" win.....LSU just wins, we don't need "signature" wins......our name is important enough.....

So is Syracuse the only non-SEC team in the country that isn't overrated? is this how this works?

Because "weird things happen" isn't a relevant argument when assessing a matchup where one team is clearly superior, as ASU is to Syracuse. Yes Syracuse COULD beat ASU but we have no reason to believe they would.

Meanwhile, Auburn almost lost at home to San Jose State and an FCS team. It's more than reasonable to say that Syracuse could realistically beat them in the Carrier Dome.

No but as their record shows, they are better than ASU.

You can't really refute that until the season ends

9 yards per play on offense. We moved the ball at will when we actually had it

There is no doubt in anyone's mind Syracuse would beat the shite out of Auburn in the Carrier Dome, Jordan-Hare, Ethiopia, or any damn place.
