Given the mud hole the dawgs were stomping in them the league office probably panicked and called in to the booth to reverse it.

As of now these are your playoff possibilities

Six 1 loss teams
Three 2 loss teams

Texas plays 2 of those teams
A&M plays 2
LSU plays 3
Georgia plays 2
The stinking Vols play 2
Missouri plays 1, but could lose to anyone left on their schedule

These teams start the playoff next week, lose and you’re out. Should probably add Missouri to this, they would be the only team that can go 10-2 and miss I think

Bama plays 2
Ole Miss plays 1
Vandy plays 3

The way the schedule is setting up, doesn’t look like the SEC will get more than 4 in at the moment. I had thought 5 at the start of the season.

They need to both penalize Texas for the behavior and clarity that disruption of the game should have been an unsportsmanlike in game penalty.

The school and fans won't care about a fine. The penalty should be a one year ban on alcohol sales in the stadium

However you feel about Georgia or Texas the precedent they set otherwise is terrible

Then the official should have immediately picked up the flag. It was the delay, triggered by the bottle throwing, that caused the official to look at the big screen and go “oops!”

It was reviewed unofficially on the field.

They can't even get the statement about it correct. That is not what happened at all.

I have no problem with the refs huddling to discuss the flag and ultimately picking up the flag. It happens fairly regularly. But do it BEFORE announcing the penalty. The way that went down last night was shady and unacceptable. Heads should roll over that.

This is actually pretty serious, and I think the conference means business. They might have to drop the hammer on Vanderbilt. Either that, or ESPN will have to pay a substantial penalty on uta’s behalf.

I didn’t watch the game but I thought Texas intercepted the pass at the Georgia 46 and returned it to the Georgia 9.

Lol the SEC refs are so bad they cant even write a correct statement about what happened, given hours to write it. It's amateur hour

The move by the officials was shocking. If this is the path we are going to go down, you will have review every play and then review the reviews.......

Statement is a complete gaslight of what actually transpired. Makes me despise SEC Office even more.

Definitely should've been an additional 15 against Texas and UGA kept the ball.

This right here. What a lame statement. Didn't even address the delay in reversing everything

Mizzou, A&M, OU and Arkansas warned everybody. We’ve all seen this before.

Remember, they are the “Joneses”
