You know you can back check history a year ago. It was a lot "Bammers" that pulled for LSU. Even was a thread on Bama board about it.
Funny thing is even one's that rooting against LSU didn't change their team affiliate to reflect that.

I was 100% for LSU winning last year. This year I'm for Bama winning only because I dislike OSU almost as much as I hate Norte Dame.

I pulled against Clemson so count me in. Actually was enjoyable watching Burrow in the Playoffs last year.

I always root for SEC teams in bowl games including LSU last season. I really enjoyed watching them play other than against Bama of course. I root for all the conference team including Auburn against out of conference opponents.

I went to LSU but after LSU I pull for the Gumps ! I have lived in Alabama for 45 years & most of my friends are BAMA fans!ROLL TIDE beat Ohio State!!!!!

I pull for all the SEC teams in bowl games. As for last year and this year, I take no joy in seeing out-of-conference teams beat SEC teams that my team did not beat.
I don't care about SEC teams being beat by those teams, I just want my team to beat you.

Rooted for LSU last season and am rooting for the meteor this season. Also, while I think tOSU has a great team it’s a sham that they were allowed in. It’s been unfair to not only the teams that got overlooked/fricked out of a spot but also to the teams that were selected and have to face a team that has a decided advantage for not having played a fuller slate. But frick the playoffs in general. They prove more and more political/corrupt every year. The old BCS was far superior even with its flaws and controversies.

Was pulling for LSU all the way. As we said at the time, we all considered Clemson to be the only threat to the Bama dynasty.

It actually does. LSU and Alabama winning titles hurts A&M because we all recruit the same guys. It’s all about recruiting. The more Alabama wins, the more it hurts us. An East team like Georgia or Florida winning does not hurt us as bad.
