If this serves as a wakeup call Florida could have a good one. He is very talented, and if he buckles down and gets to work, then he can develop into a great player.

Could be an excellent get for Florida.

Just curious what Kirby has had to say about the Brenton Cox matter?

Nothing, really. His dismissal was announced, they wished him well, and that was pretty much it. Standard operating procedure, I would guess.

Yikes... desperately trying to sling comebacks from what was a nothingburger humorous comment... Good to know you aren't upset or anything.

Brenton’s only problem is that he doesn’t give a frick about anyone else but Brenton. When he wants to do well, he’s as good as there is but staying motivated is an issue for him and he was becoming a drain on the coaches and the rest of the team. Maybe a change of setting and the humiliation of being dismissed gives him the motivation he needs but if he sits out a year, I wouldn’t expect him to be in Gainesville for more than a single season. Once he is draft eligible he’s gone (but then maybe that’s what Mullen is thinking with Florida losing a lot after this season, just needs talent on the edge to give some younger guys a chance to grow)

HAHA , I was right. I said gaytors would pick him up. Such a scummy coach and school. They really are made for each other...

And of course UGA fans are saying he was getting passed by freshmen. UGA fans always think their freshmen are better than the guys before them. They love the shiny new toys with zero experience.
i mean you may not like it, but it’s what the tea leaves suggest. Sorry it bothers you so much that UGA is flooded and can afford to lose a guy that is a cancer.

I could understand this statement if they were doing this to a multi year all-sec type guy, but Cox is also unproven. Didn't start a game until someone else got hurt and had issues performing his role on the field. Being excited that the #1 overall recruit will get more snaps isn't outrageous either. Keep goin with your double standards I guess. We all know its only UGA fans that are optimistic about their freshman.

Let it all out bro, I'd be mad too if my team went 2-10 last year

Cox likes to take plays off, get arrested, fail drug tests, and start fights with teammates. But Mullen can change him. Mullen can turn him into a perfect man. Mullen can fix him.

Sounds like Kirby doesn't have control of his players? Is he in over his head? Mullen is more of a disciplinarian, he will get him to fall in line.

This would be funnier if Mullen hasn't had 5 players get popped for assaulting women
