Question... Everyone on here has such a strong opinion that they know OM cheated heavily and OM is going to get a multi year bowl ban, when that doesn't happen... will you acknowledge you are wrong or just say the ncaa has no teeth?

Ok, why didn't our "crack" lead to us landing Redmond (who you have been proven you bought), Leo (proven you bought) Simmons, Green, Peters, Dear, etc? This whole everyone goes 80 and OM went 100 crap doesn't add up to what MSU has done in recruiting and their past punishment with the ncaa.

Sorry if I was unclear, by crack I was refering to suddenly signing top 5 classes from nowhere.
Not sure how many of the above guys OM was really after, would not suspect schools offer each and every player party favors but I have zero actual knowledge of this.

Tired argument is tired. The Redmond saga was peanuts and we self-reported and self-imposed those penalties including firing a coach and disassociating a booster...before the NCAA ever looked into it.
Leo "proven we bought" by whom? I'd like to see a link from anyone other than Godfrey where this is alleged. I have a link from the NCAA response that says they investigated the claim and could not find evidence to support it.
I'm not naive to think State, and all schools for that matter, do some "heppin". But you guys went all in and it's time to pay the piper.
You cite all these other players when all you have is rumor and innuendo. We have tons of the same about Nkemdiche, Tunsil, Treadwell, Conner, CJ Johnson, Patterson, Kelly, etc.
But here is the big takeaway here: Do you really expect everyone to believe that you offered 10K to LL, which he took and went to state (this is an indisputable fact), but all of these great players that chose Ole Miss didn't get paid? Do you really believe this is all about giving rides and sleeping on coach's couches?
Ole Miss is gonna fry for what the NCAA suspects your program has been doing, and they're going to use what they can verify to do it.

I do think they have an agenda. I think we are controlling the agenda. Greg Byrne = former MsState AD now at bama. Stricklin former msstate AD at Florida. Sankey the SEC commish has MsState ties. He also serves in some capacity for the NCAA.
We are playing the long game. Take out all our opponents by strategically placing MsState people in positions of power. They are double agents. This is the NCAA cold war.

And where in the noa does it show how we did that? I mean other than cheating to set up the university 20 miles away from a 5* house, 40 miles from the top juco in the country who we placed there out of HS as two star, forced a 3* to come to OM a year in advance because he let the #1 wr in the country live with him, forced the older brother of the #1 player in the country to come to OM a year earlier and forced the #1 OT in the country into coming to OM by being the only school to give an offer to his cousin and little brother.
Oh you mean we just went crazy on those guys and out spent florida, uga, and Alabama... gotcha.. let me ask you then... why cant we outspend them for a RB or LB. Why don't we have a defense if we just have so much money to buy the players we want? This never gets answered, just lazy assumptions of well they recruited good when they had all these connections so they cheated but they cant get the #1 LB in the country who is in MS because he just loves Starkville so much.

I know they get paid. They all get paid. We paid Leo. Leo got the same if not 1K more from state and went to the school he wanted to go to. That's how it works. All schools cheat, the kid tells the school he wants to go to what they have to pay and if they pay then he goes there, 9 times out of 10 the money doesn't matter, the kid just goes where he wants.
What you are saying is either you believe other schools don't cheat or OM just has so much more money that other schools cant keep up with them. Either way, why don't we have LB's and RB's? Why don't we have a talented defense. If we got top 10 classes because we outspent people why didn't we get the players we needed?

There is claim after claim from ole miss fans that the allegations are bogus due to no smoking gun.
Yet the “MSU paid Leo!” mantra lives on.
The NCAA states it has “independent” and “multiple” sources. Well show us the “independent” and “multiple” sources on this.
