Allegation #9 specifically states that he went to RR for free stuff.

So what happened? Is Kobe telling the truth now and the NCAA just make it all up? Or did KObe tell the NCAA what is written in the NCAA?

Jesus you guys can't read for shite. There are no discrepancies between the statements and the NOA. The NOA says they got free shite from rebel rags, that does not mean that rebel rags paid for said free shite.

What this article is is Kobe's lawyer pimp walking over the lawsuit. That statement alone just threw this case out of the window.

That's right. It says that Barney arranged it. It says that's where they went. It doesn't say who paid for the merchandise.

He hasn't changed his story. The only story that has changed at all in this thing is the bullshite narrative your fanboys keep reporting. The story changes weekly, and they haven't been right about anything yet.

When y'all talk about how you're getting off and this won't end up being a big deal, you don't cite the NOA or the NCAA's response, you cite Neal, Godfrey, or yancy. I can't believe you idiots keep believing them. They have to be laughing at you.

meh.

He says he got free stuff from RR, but didn't know who paid for it?

Regardless, what he's saying now is not how the NCAA interpreted it.

Sounds like a case of lawyer speak trying to back out of the lawsuit.

Good thing all those NCAA interviews are likely recorded somewhere

You mean "good thing Godfreys version of all those NCAA interviews are somewhere."

Kobe's lawyer just stated in a legal briefing exactly what Kobe told the NCAA. Facts mean nothing to idiots though.

Still winning SEC games? You have the absolute weakest sec east draw possible and have only beaten Vandy and won on a prayer at Kentucky.

the entire SEC West is a dumpster fire sans Alabama.

Ummm. Wrong again.

LSU is now bragging about keeping it within two scores of Alabama

But you are here bragging on “winning SEC games” by a end of game prayer vs Kentucky?

Keep holding on to the COI “saving face”. And keep on embarrassing yourselves by posing fictional information as fact from people that have been 100% wrong and continue to be wrong.

His lawyer wouldn't claim that's what was said if it wasn't word for word, and I can promise you he has the interviews.

From the NCAA's perspective, it's the same violation no matter who paid for it. He's on an official visit and everyone else there is a booster.

Gotcha. So he didn't get free stuff from RR; he just got stuff from RR that was paid for by someone else.

Right, but more ambiguous than that even. He just got free stuff and it came from rebel rags.

Honestly, all cards on the table here, let's not act like this doesn't happen. What probably went down is RR's owner or someone connected gave him the free shite after they paid for the merchandise. RR wouldn't give it to him off the shelf without registering a sale.

Then there should be records of that sale, correct? Like those pesky security tags on all the apparel there too

All this is is Kobe's lawyer saying "Please don't sue us RR. Kobe never said he got free stuff from you, just that he got stuff from you that was paid by someone else".

He went to RR to pick up free stuff and he left with free stuff. That's what he said and that's what the NCAA says. Terry Warren made it about himself with his lawsuit and your fanboys are writing his version of events.

So? Thanks for confirming what I said Sugar britches. His recorded testimony has never changed from the start.

Oh, and don't forget the part where RR owner called Barney Farrar like 30 times that weekend.

But he never. NEVER, said RR gave him free stuff. He said he was allowed to shop and not pay for it. He then said he doesn’t know who paid for it. My guess? A booster or coach. Which is common knowledge among everyone in Oxford of how it is done. It’s been done for years. They think they had iron clad process of not getting caught since someone else pays for it. Then they claim “look at all these receipts and evidence we have!” The NCAA is not stupid. The arrogance is what pisses them off.
Again, their testimony has never changed. His own lawyer put this out to clarify how dumb the lawsuit is. The whole thing is based on Kobe saying RR “gave” him free stuff. Which he never said. He even denied that from the start. He said he was allowed to shop and he didn’t have to pay for it. Semantics . You’d think OM’s great law graduates could understand this basic concept as it relates to legal issues. No wonder they are ranked 151 out of 152.

Yes, you beat Vandy and Kentucky.

It’s amazing how salty you get after “bearly” beating teams like Kentucky.

He said g didn’t have to pay for anything. His exact words were something like, he was allowed to shop and walk out with stuff without paying. And then he said he doesn’t knows w who paid for it.

You can keep acting confused and stupid all you want but you know y’all are wrong AGAIN. No amount of silly questions is gonna change that.
