If we are all being completely honest it was much earlier...the day Nick Saban retired. Sure Daboer is a good coach and will do well and win some games, but no one will replicate at BAMA what Saban did. To do what he did in the SEC year in and year out was unrepeatable.

Not to pick nits here, but that is not an totally accurate description of LSU's defense. We simply could not defend a QB with any running ability at all for a 2.5 game stretch. We are still weak at it, but took it to another level for that stretch. That said, the Bama game was more than that. Alabama would've beat our arse that night with you and I alternating at QB.
