Vs Diego Pavia? I’d take Beck.

Agreed.
Pavia comes off as an egotistical douche.
Maybe in real life he isn’t, but it sure seems like he is.

I believe the word the OP was looking for was "cancer" not "villian"

Pavia is just Latino Manziel.

Same setup, just a different group of amigos around him.

That’s a fairly accurate statement.

I couldn’t stand Manziel either.

The only reason he did transfer for his last year, after two years as the starter is because his elbow was fricked up and couldn't be guaranteed to start in his last year, which would have destroyed his draft stock

Going into the 2024 season he was the #1 player for the 2025 NFL Draft and was going to be an early entrant. He was not good his 2nd year starting at UGA before his injury.

His completion % dropped 8% (some of that was his WRs having stonehands admittedly) and his INTs doubled. He went from a 4/1 TD to INT ratio to 2 1/2 in both his last 2 years.

He just never developed like he looked like he was going to after his first year starting

Mendoza is pretty damn smart. I would trust his decision making and running an offense efficiently over Beck.

Beck can make more difficult throws, but he's not smarter.

the douchebags are not Beck, I imagine, it's these pussy "draft analysts" who never played past 7th grade

they did this shite to Ryan Mallet because he had a white boy ghetto accent

he'd had one public intox arrest, that was it

I don't remember what it was, but Beck was roasted in the media during the playoffs for basically no reason other than 5'3, 230 pound fatass sportswriters "didn't like him"

him "being on drugs" is bullshite, or it would be a story

these are the same dipshits who acted like Shedeur Sanders was the second coming of Warren Moon

Yeah, I don't know. Good observation.

I think most elite QBs are decently smart, at least in terms of football IQ.

There's probably a difference in being smart inside the team room and processing speed on the field (or decision making/risk taking), though.

At one point his ex GF was making allusions to that effect and I thought that was being discussed as a potential cause for his transfer to Miami?

Im not claiming first hand knowledge of any of this so if its not the case I apologize and Im certainly not an UGA or Miami insider.

There are guys with fully punchable faces... Beck has punchable eyes.

On occasion you see dudes with eyes like his and they are usually pretty high on the jerk scale.

Just takes one team. Pellisero believes he'll go in the second round.

Nothing like this ever was rumored at UGA, maybe a Miami rumor? I've never heard any rumors about Beck and drugs.

He was the 3rd QB taken in the draft so at least one GM didn't think he was locker room poison.

Mendoza
Simpson
Beck
