Spurrier said he was told that receiver Bruce Ellington's knee touched the ground when the clock had run out. "That's what he told me. I said, 'Wait a minute now, don't you review that?'" Spurrier said.

Wait, they talked about a controversial pass interference in an LSU game at Auburn, and they picked 2018????
They didn't choose this one from 2006, where the officials picked up a flag because they ruled Auburn tipped the ball before Gilbert made contact on Doucet????
Tell me this is a list from AL.com without telling me.

2018 decided the game. Was a terrible terrible call.

I think you guys have built up this narrative and hyperbolized it so much now, you're actually starting to believe it.
We've posted numerous statistics to show that this simply isn't true.
Not sure what else you want us to say.

The 2006 one decided the game also.

Ironic thread coming from a fanbase that literally benefits from blown calls every week..
Confirmation bias at work here.

Those Auburn games.
One was Auburn and one was Florida, crews were suspended after the games.
The Auburn game was just stupidity but the Florida game appeared intentional.

I've seen it not called in that situation, sure. But, Dean's left hand is on Jefferson's forearm for almost 5 yards. It's at least a defensible call.
From the telecast:
Also, in the case of 2006, LSU already had an interception overturned on the exact same scenario: an LSU player made contact with the Auburn receiver before a different LSU player touched the ball (in this case, intercepting it, which Auburn didn't do.) So, the officials knew what to look for, and didn't.
Not that either changes things.

3 yrs ago...UF @ Carolina.
Can't remember the players involved but the UF defender held one of our guys for like 30 yards as the ref ran right next to him all the way down the sideline while he was doing it.
Or the year the ref blocked Stephen Garcia in the game vs LSU. Threw a mean forearm shiver. Stepped into it, too. Knocked Garcia on his arse.

You mean like the obvious no-call safety in the end zone?

Take your pick from 2009 Arkansas/Florida. The Sheppard PF call was inexplicable. Oh well, at least they didn’t affect the outcome of the game.
Wait. Nvm.
2009 Arkansas/Florida blown calls

The worst call in that game was DeAndre swift getting tackled by his face mask in the backfield. Like pulled down by his head. If it’s called GA gets 15 yards instead of punting and gets at least a FG try. That and the 6-7 blatant holdings not called on Tua’s first series on 3rd & 10 at 13-0 changed the game. There were too many calls that unalterably changed the course of that game. UGA benefitted from a couple too.

Calls are part of the game.
Some Teams overcome them like LSU did against Ole Miss.
Others blame it on the refs forever.

Its clear as can be that the AU DB is using his left hand to pull JJ’s right arm down while JJs going up to try & catch the ball.
Just watch the replay that was linked in the story. Cant miss it, it’s obvious.
