Some of the polls will put a non-CWS team in their top 8. Baseball America and D1 Baseball had Arkansas #5 in their final rankings in 2021.

Where will Tennessee finish in 2022?

Don’t they take the recruiting class into consideration? How many kids are coming back next season etc.

I’d say somewhere between 4-8ish.

They had a good squad. Just full of douche bags.

To me, it would depend upon who wins it and how far ND goes. But I would probably go in the 3 to 5 range.

I believe a baseball pole ended up in Tennessee.

Above all the 0-2 and 1-2 Omaha guys. So, 3rd to 5th. MAYBE as high as #2 if the runner-up gets swept and both finalists are unseeded teams. They were too good historically to drop further. Also won a Regional and a Super Regional game.

I say they finish 4th.

I'm guessing #2 since we really should be #1.

Baseball America had A+M in final poll at #2 in 1989 despite them not making it to Omaha. BA is like one or two guys who I'm convinced are high most of the time.

I was thinking #4. Trolling aside, Tennessee had a great season. If they fall out of the top 5 it's because Vitello and his team act like assholes

My sources insist that this is going to be a split national title with all of the major polls still placing the Vols at #1.

Does anything besides #1 really matter in college baseball?

Some polls will put them #9 because they didn't make the CWS, but at least a couple polls put Arkansas last year as #5 in their post-CWS poll.
