I think it’s fine for a night game season opener but if used in every game, it loses its effect.

I took 3 beans right before the game. I was pissed that they didn’t use them more than they did. Plus they only used red and white. It seemed
like they only did he effects when the game came back from commercial, but I haven’t watched the whole replay yet. That’s probably why most think they were used too much... But really they were only used a couple times each quarter. And I agree about the elephant noise, sounds like it’s getting a prostate exam or something. But the lights... They really didn’t use them enough.

Being in Sanford against Notre Dame at 8pm...after a full day of tailgating....and not barking in kids faces and saving my phlegm since Auburn wasn’t in town...it was a pretty cool sight to see. UGA didn’t use the lights as much as Bama, but I thought the lights going into the 4th quarter with the phones lighting up was a pretty damn cool sight. I’m waiting for an aerial shot to frame.
Either way, lights or no lights, it’s hard to beat a SEC home crowd fan base at night. The later...the drunker...the louder...the better.

Everybody is going LED since they save so much money on electricity. Auburn's baseball field already has.
What you choose to do with the LEDs are up to the school. Some will do it to save money and some will turn their stadiums into roller rinks in hopes that the students will stay.
