HR get hit because of prevailing wind on a hot day.
home plate to straight center at Foley sits West to East - almost dead perfect due West to East - wind can blow in many directions - but it usually follows the jet stream from W to E - especially in June in Athens -

June 10 2006 - NCAA record 5 straight home runs at Foley Super -

Humid air is less dense than dry air.

It's humid as frick in Athens.

I lived in Houston most of my life.. I’ve lived in Athens for last 3 years..

The humidity in Athens is nothing compared to the gulf coast.. not even comparable imo

I have literally lived in both places, it gets crazy humid in Athens as well.

News flash, if you are in the South, and it's deep green all around you and there is a river near by, it gets plenty humid.....

Yeah these aren’t barely making it out. The last one to take the lead was nearly over the scoreboard.

Is it how/who they recruit? Is it coaching? How much of each is it?

The only logical explanation that I can come up with is that you suck cock for meth.

Everyone has a wittle bitty stadium except lsu. Their stadium is the biggest stadium in the whole world.

once you get to omaha and the hitting and HR's stop you usually hide and are nowhere to be seen.

What is far behind Georgia's hitting, is Georgia's pitching.

Which home run that UGA hit today wouldn't have been out of any SEC stadium?

Why do LSU fans do this to themselves? Our left field fence is 20 feet further than LSU's, and the centerfield fence is 1 foot shorter. The rightfield fence is 16 feet shorter, but I guess that makes up for LSU's ridiculously short left field fence.

Some LSU fans insist on repeating this lie, but it only shows your ignorance for you to keep repeating it.

True statement good call out and that was a miss on my part. However, wasn’t my only point as the elevations is quite a bit higher in Athens. Like I said there’s many factors that play a part. Of course wind direction as mentioned by someone else is another.

your right field power alley is also the same as Alex Box’s.

If true (Not saying it is not) then moving from the power alley to the left field fence must be massive, because our left field fence is a full 20 feet further than Alex Box.
