All this BS will end when Bama steamrolls both playoff opponents. and it really doesn't matter who it is. Put the names in a hat and draw three.

If aTm had lost to Bama by one score and had been able to muster any kind of competent offense this season, they would be in. 13 points against an all-time terrible LSU defense doesn't exactly instill confidence that they would be able to keep it close with anyone in the playoffs.

As it stands, they would get blown out by Bama, Clemson, OSU or ND. The committee would like to avoid that scenario.

Really? Unfortunately the facts and the schedule show A&M has a stronger argument than anyone except for Bama in the playoffs. A&M has a second week loss to the number one team in the country. ND has only played one team in the top 15 and had to go to overtime to beat them minus their best player. People rant about A&M’s lackluster win over Vandy in game 1...yet ignore ND’s five point win over Louisville...over giving up 31 points to Boston College...winning by only two scores over Duke..when A&M beat LSU by two TD’s..OSU has only played 5 games..with barely a win over Indiana...and no other ranked team. A&M has one loss to an all SEC schedule. I don’t believe for a second ND, OSU or Clemson could play Bama, Florida, Auburn, LSU...even the pirate, with only one loss.

More specifically, A&M doesn’t belong.

The SEC was trash this year.

Why do we needed to see the Gumps snuff you Aggots again? We know what you Aggots are at football. You are lucky you got out of the Ole Miss game, you would have lost.

It really doesn't matter what we want to see.

It is in all likelihood that we are going to see Bama, Clemson and tOSU win this weekend.

Then, we will see Bama vs ND and Clemson vs tOSU in the semis.

I think not getting this result would be more surprising than the LSU win vs UF

Kellen Mond is hot garbage. The guy completed 11 passes against LSU’s Swiss cheese defense. 11-34 for 105 yds and they think they make the playoffs?

Because ND-Clemson was a good game. A&M-Bama was a complete bloodbath.

I mean Bama has only had a couple of undefeated season in SEC play. It’s hard to go undefeated no matter what conference your in. However, I do believe Clemson would have a similar resume vs those same opponents as Bama over the last 10 yrs.

How’d Bama do?

Uh, Bama scored 45 points by halftime. A couple of missed assignments doesn't make A&M a better defense.

Also, Bama's run D has improved significantly since playing A&M. I doubt Mond could offset the difference in a rematch. He's not a great QB, which is it will take to beat the Tide this (and most) years.
