So we want to see ND-Clemson 3 times but don't want Bama-A&M 2 times?

Not a team in all of CFB that gets more privelige than ND. If they are anywhere near the top, they'll get the benefit of the doubt. Even Texas is jealous of the ND favoritism.

If Clemson beats Notre Dame (especially if it's a close game), it'll be #1 Alabama, #2 Clemson, #3 Notre Dame, #4 Ohio State. Then it'll be Clemson vs. Notre Dame in the playoff. Or ND would drop to #4 and then we could see a Clemson/ND NC game.
The best bet is for ND to beat Clemson again, then A&M gets in. Unless Northwestern beats OSU, which I doubt will happen, but that's the best thing for CFB in my mind, because even though we all know Ohio State is good, you can't play literally half of a fricking season. They already got a preferential rule change to ensure they get in the B1G CG. The unearned benefits have to end at some point. The case against TAMU is not that they lost to Alabama, but that they got blown out. I do understand that, but at least A&M is out there playing a full schedule against opponents with a pulse. Like we saw with LSU/Florida, tOSU could have lost any one of the games they missed.
I don't know why Ohio State doesn't just play Cincinnati, and the winner goes to the playoffs. They're both highly ranked and both in Ohio, it would be easy to do anything like BYU and Coastal Carolina did last minute.

I don’t see how anyone can view A&M as a playoff team. Mond is bad much of the time. That offense could only muster 13 points against LSU.

So what the Rant is saying that the ACC deserves two teams in the playoffs and a SEC team with one loss does not belong?
