The SEC had 3 teams in the Final top 10 of the AP poll last year.

He could be right on point.

AU vs Bama L
AU vs LSU L
AU vs GA L
AU vs Tex A&M L
AU vs KY ?
AU vs UNC ?
AU vs ole Miss?

He may be smarter than all you pragmatists. Au will take a step further back in 2020. How that plays out in W/L's is anybody's guess.

Oh, I'm sorry this is about ??. Lol!

He's an irrelevant guy in the business. He is getting exactly what he wants, which is his name seen/mentioned. He made up some garbage excuse about analytics so he doesn't come off as a complete tool (in his mind - in reality, he is a complete tool). If you look at the poll tracker, his name is all over it for both highest and lowest rankings. So, again, he gets his name seen/heard. That's the only way he could figure out to get publicity. So, I guess it's working.

Auburn is 19-2 and you think it is not unreasonable to see them not ranked? Go back to football. I mean who not in the top 25 should take t heir place?

Two bad losses back to back, only great win was with a huge home court advantage....I think AU is top 25 but it's not ridiculous to say they aren't

It's effing moronic to say they aren't. You can argue that they're overrated at #10 or 11, but 19-2 in a Power 5 conference and not even rating them? That's Head-Up-Your-arse stupidity. W's matter most. Not "potential".

I’ve been to the west side of Alabama. You definitely shouldn’t be casting stones. You can’t tell where Alabama ends and Mississippi begins.

Nah, he's been a big stats guy since he was a nobody at the Lawrence paper. He just thinks the AP poll should be based on quality of teams, not resume. He was the only person high on Auburn last year and that turned out okay.

People have been complaining about the AP poll for years because of poll inertia, biases, etc. Someone finally changes it up and takes literally all bias out and people get upset.

Using Michigan St as an example, stats and predictions say they're a really good team. They're not a really good team. And you can go on down the line. Like most everybody else, stats don't have much of a grasp on anything this season.
