Well next week you can watch Auburn @ KSU. the only way that works is an away game after an open date. Would have preferred it was played on Saturday.

frick that. Georgia doesn't do Thursday games unless it's a holiday. And we stopped those shenanigans too. Leave that garbage to the ACC, BIG 12, AAC, BYU vs some unfortunate soul.

It's just dumb. Season opener? That's fine. MSU, VU, UK or whatever wants some exposure? Let them go for it. Real teams don't play on Thursday though and it'd be dumb for the reasons everyone has stated to even make an effort to get more Thursday games.
At that point we may as well compete with the MAC for Tuesday and Wednesday games and the MWC and AAC for Friday.

Playing a game on a work day is a logistical nightmare for the larger venues and smaller college towns.

We only start the season on Thursday night anymore. We used to do it during the season but not anymore.

I don't really watch the NFL much, of course I only watch a few college games anyway
