Ken Griffey Jr came through the Wendy's drive thru I was working. So met him but this was pre me having a cellphone and didn't really have a camera. I gave him a free frosty though

We don't travel well in some sports. For me though, I wouldn't care if we gave up baseball entirely. So you can probably guess where I fall in caring about traveling for baseball games

Gainesville only has a couple breweries right now, Swamphead, Alligator Brewing and First Magnitude, another one called Black Adder is opening up in the near future as well as Rainstorm Brewing in the little more distant future. Practically every restaurant and bar downtown is now serving craft beer with a emphasis on local. There are a few really good beer bars, House of Beer, Brass Tap, World of Beer and Crafty Bastards.
Midtown is still mostly macro beer because of the location to the cheaper students though there are still several bars with craft offerings. It's a growing scene in Gainesville and if any of you come down for a game in Gainesville I will be glad to meet you at First Magnitude and buy you a beer.

Couple years ago Terrapin and Swamp Head made a collaboration beer called Bitter Rivalry, wish they would do that again.

When the SEC Network launched I watched his show for about 10 minutes. Haven't watched it since, it's terrible. Wish we had quality shows on it because it isn't worth watching unless your team is playing on it.
