It’s humorous too me that 5 years ago or so when Texas was exploring the Pac12 or Big 10, posters on Shaggy Bevo had nothing but disdain and insults about the SEC.
Fast forward today. Sarkisian, a disciple of the GOAT, has turned around Texas into a very respectable program.
I always wanted Texas and OU in our conference. There fervor and passion is definitely SEC level.
I welcome the passion and they as fans have been in the desert ever since that arse whipping we put on Colt and Mack Brown years ago.
They have earned the right to smack talk until we meet them in Atlanta for another arse whipping.

We took the long way to get to the SEC, but I am glad we're finally here. Texas wouldn't have many of the current stars on the team if we were still in the Big 12. Sark was able to sell a vision to them of competing at the highest levels and prepping for the NFL and impending SEC membership was a huge part of that.
