that sounds like a team that needs to play with Kansas/Illinois, annually if you can’t find the right division for them in the Southeastern Conference.

Shoe-horned into the league. Don’t stop there; Boise State is looking for a p5 conference too.

Mizzou should be making rivals out of TAMU, Arkansas, LSU, every season. Geographical content matters in college football.

West Virginia is playing this ridiculous game in the Big 12. Morgantown has to be thrilled flying to the midwest every Saturday to get a game.

Hence the 3rd grade map that shows Mizz tucked neatly between Illinois and Kansas.

Granted Mizz Arky is a good regional rivalry. But Arky deserves to be in the sec while Mizz is a better fit to play Iowa every year.

And they sound like they want to leave anyway, with big ten as Takers.

I don't see as counting all 4. I see it as choosing 1 duo or the other...making 14.

You REDUCE conference size...you INCREASE # of conferences.

Pick your poison.

Not entirely true because you can send Rutgers packing to the Go5.

The big12 sadly added tcu to the fray and now they belong since baylor and they are the only
Texas schools to realistically compete for the playoff.

You can't get past your own politics and that is on you, not Mizzou. The Tennessee river separates Mizzou from Tennessee and they do happen to border Arkansas.

The SEC has not only done the tigers a great injustice, they kept the barners from going where they truly belong. The East division would never have been considered the "Least" had someone learned to read a map.

Wth are you talking about with the politics comment? Explain that.
I know, you want Mizz in the west for traditional reason. That makes no sense but you do you.

Whoa. My Total misunderstanding. I saw that as adding total teams to the p5 level.

If you went back to the time when the big East was actually competitive with vt and Miami going for titles, that was 6 good leagues.

Sec
ACC
Big10
Big12
Pac
Big East.

With 2 at large could actually be good. It would also make conference championships worth while.

A&M would fit well in the Pac 12+. Gay cheerleaders, the laughing stock of the SEC, would be likely embraced there.

I’d trade mizzou for OU or UT. That’s about it.

Everyone is literally happy with this.
When I was about 8 years old, I drew a map with one Western Hemisphere superstate, with its capital in Kingston, Jamaica. I confidently explained to my parents that it was a truly brilliant idea, because the lines on the map looked so very, very clean.

Your conference re-alignment reminds me of that anecdote.

I don’t want Oklahoma State in the SEC. I’d rather keep Missouri if Oklahoma State is my other option.

Conferences reorganizing requires more then what makes sense geographically or competitively. This would require reorganizing multiple TV deal worth a billion dollars.

It takes smarter people than me for sure.

Which is why I am wondering why the sec forced a move to take a never-was, just for TV sets. Missouri too.

If they moved it would not bother me a bit.
