If the LSU/Bama game is decided by a TD or less, and both win out, they should absolutely both be in the playoffs.

Have you seen those wins? 3 Top 10s. Wowzers.

Is any one of those LSU games as good as Clemson beating Alabama?

I wonder because you have said that was the greatest game ever. Odd that a football fan would not choose his own team for best game, but you're an odd fellow.

Playoffs will be

1. SECCG Winner
2. Clemson
3. Ohio State
4. Oklahoma/SECCG Loser/Bama vs LSU loser

The Acc does have a winning record against the Sec since the college football playoffs started. We all have opinions about who is great and who is this and that but the numbers don't lie meaning when we go head to head with the Sec as of late we are winning more than you are. THOSE ARE FACTS.

That's what happens when you have a partnership with ESPN. Notice how you don't see them saying this about Ohio St and PSU.

Because winning the conference is still a big deal to most teams. It's not like kissing your sister like winning the ACC is.

So according to most SEC posters on this site - the Bama LSU loser still deserves to make the CFP with one loss. If true, why bother playing hard in the game since both make the CFB yet the loser gets to sit on the couch and watch the winner have to play an extra game in the SEC championship game?
The only way the SEC even sniffs two CFP team is if a one loss East winner beats an undefeated west winner in the SEC championship

Your conclusion would be right except it's wrong.

1) Unlike some other conferences (cough*ACC*cough), winning the SEC is important to its member institutions. It actually means something.

2) If you lose the LSU/Bama game you make your margin for error zero. Any additional loss dooms you in the hunt for a title.

3) It is important for Bama to beat LSU and for LSU to beat Bama to help with recruiting.

1. Every P5 team cares about winning their conference. His comment was a slight at Bama and the committee for letting a team sit at home and basically be rewarded with a bye week after losing in their final season game while the team that beat them had to play another game resulting in a loss and missing the playoffs. That’s absurd.

Here's the falicy.

Just because you win a conference championship, you're one of the 4 best teams.

The ACC is too weak this year. Sorry. It's facts.

We didn't play anybody good last year either and we went and beat the king of the SEC

Can't remember the exact score, but I'm sure one of the LSU posters that posted it hundreds of times over the off season could tell you

But then teams from the SEC struggle and get beat by teams that y'all all try to say are in a bad conference

You're talking about the worst teams. I am not.

We'll see the last weekend of the year. Clemson will beat a 4-7 SC team, but all the other ACC teams will lose vs the SEC.

At the end of the year, Clemson's best win will be a 7-5 Texas A&M. Tell me how that deserving over a 1 loss LSU team that played 4 top 10 teams beat 3 of them and lost to the #2 team in the country? Even with the loss you can argue they have a better resume than Clemson.

Clemson may very well get in this year, but it will be because of the last 3 years.

I think you better check the records pal. The ACC has owned rivalry week the past 5 years or so.

Florida has lost 7 of the last 9 to FSU, Louisville has won 3 of the last 4 against Kentucky, even GT has a couple wins over UGA.

The only thing you have to say the ACC is weak is the rankings. The committee doesn’t take them into account. They are irrelevant. The only reason all these SEC teams are highly ranked is so ESPN can drive up the ratings.

If Clemson wins out they are in so go ahead and get your excuses ready when we bitch slap the best of the SEC again.

1/7/19. Your daddy, I mean Alabama. We won 44-17. But you know that, you lived vicariously through us for months

Every other team in the top 25 except Kansas and Hawaii had 2 or more loses. We won it, we deserved it.
