So according to most SEC posters on this site - the Bama LSU loser still deserves to make the CFP with one loss. If true, why bother playing hard in the game since both make the CFB yet the loser gets to sit on the couch and watch the winner have to play an extra game in the SEC championship game?
The only way the SEC even sniffs two CFP team is if a one loss East winner beats an undefeated west winner in the SEC championship

The ACC is a very difficult conference.

CFP will be
1. Winner of LSU Bama
2. Ohio St.
3. Loser of LSU Bama
4. Loser of SEC Champ

They're idiots.

That's not even true if the other p5 winners do what they're supposed to.

Frankly, I think it would depend on the margin. LSU and Bama have played some of the best ball this year, Ohio States of the world aside.

LSU won a natty with two losses. They are magic.

What decent team has Clemson played or even beat this year seriously?

Try to rationalize all you want. Just ask yourself this question, has it happened before?

Clemsons best win of the year will be against TAM who will finish 7-5
How is that a playoff worthy resume?

Interesting post coming from an Aggie fan dick-riding LSU.

Clemson gets left out this year. And all is well in the world.

1 loss Clemson should get in over a 1 loss Alabana in my honest friggin opinion.
Alabana ain't played nobody.
LSU is a lock. Undefeated or one loss. Have you seen those wins? 3 Top 10s. Wowzers.

The Acc does have a winning record against the Sec since the college football playoffs started. We all have opinions about who is great and who is this and that but the numbers don't lie meaning when we go head to head with the Sec as of late we are winning more than you are.
THOSE ARE FACTS.
THOSE ARE FACTS.

A&M is legit the best team they’ve played.

With Oklahoma losing to K-State, yes, it makes sense now. But the LSU/Bama would have to be a close game.
Who would you put in there? OSU and Penn State still have to play each other. Florida or Georgia would both have 2 losses.
Bama would still have to thrash Auburn in order to make it. LSU would have two top 10 wins with a close loss @Bama.
Clemson is the only lock right now, since they play in a G5 conference.

So let me return to my original point since most are melting about the ACC or Clemson’s schedule
Again - why would either LSU or Bama play hard if the loser gets in the CFP? the reward for winning is playing an extra game against a difficult opponent - does that really make sense to you?
