Doesn't even seem to be a game reaction, but after the Alabama game most were saying if he cant salvage a decent season he needs to go, then after the beatdown by UF yesterday every UGA fan I know has said Richt's career needs to be over at UGA...never getting over the hump, etc etc...

What are UGA fans thinking on here? Same thing, dont want to see him waste another season at UGA? Give him 1 more year since he has the new coordinators?

Just seems crazy a coach at UGA over a 15 year span has managed to win just 2 SEC championships, 0 national championships and hasn't won any championship (well outside of SEC "east" championships) in the last 10 years (including 2015).

He needs to go. I've always been a fan of Richt, but everything comes to an end. He's run his course here. Great coach, just could never get over the hump.

Not a UGA fan but I feel sorry for them having to put up with Richt always choking and wasting talent. I would like to see them get a better coach.

He'll tell a proverb about his father and quote a couple Bible verses. All the UGA fans will weep and embrace. Come back next year and go 7-5. Rinse and repeat.

Both Georgia and Richt need a change of scenery it seems like. Richt can still be successful somewhere else and Georgia can be successful without him. With Miami open, it'll be interesting to see if he takes another job

Why trade one disappointment for another?

But who do you go after?? Coaches like Miles, Saban, or Patterson don't just grow on trees..

I know a few here in Florida and they want him gone.

It's looking like there will be a lot of coaching changes this year.

If they could trade him then the best trade would be for Charlie Strong. Richt would fit Texas better , he could sweet talk the booster and kiss butt, he seems to do a great job of being well liked . While Strong would kill it recruiting at a big time school in the south east.

we look unprepared and clueless in big games - coaching

sure we had fumbled punts and big plays against us on special teams - Richt REFUSES to designate a ST coach..
I have been a defender for years, but after last year's UF game & this year's games against Bama & UF - I am done

hey, I can take losing a tough & hard fought game

But our top 10 talent doesn't look tough and we do not fight hard

Against bama, the game was over after a blocked punt for a TD

Yesterday, the muffed punt for a TD ended our chances

Our guys FOLD when things get tough

Early on in Richt's career, UGA would fight back and never quit

Not anymore...

Georgia, this year has been the most confounding team in the history of college football. The Dawgs started the game as if they were going to dominate but after two incredible dropped passes, a fumbled punt and the long Harris TD pass to Callaway I knew Georgia was finished. This makes three humiliating losses this year (projected to be a great season) and Richt's continued presence on the Georgia sideline is increasingly untenable.

The big thing to me was completely giving up on Grayson Lambert & Brice Ramsey and starting Faton Bauta? I mean really?

Bauta is a 4th year junior and there was clearly a good reason he was 3rd string QB behind those 2.

Lambert really struggled in the Bama game but to completely give up on him is dumb. Ramsey is a 3rd year sophomore, was a high 4-star and #6 pro style QB in the country and looks completely lost. Where's the QB development? UGA gets a good QB commit every year. Jacob Park transferred out, and was another Top 100 overall type player (Top 10 QB).

Richt is just grasping for straws at this point. Why Jacob Eason would want to go there at this point is beyond me, except he sees the opportunity to start as a freshman.

I think that this loss may be the final straw for most level headed fans. Georgia just looks like an awful team and they have too much talent to be this unprepared and bad game in and game out. Sometimes the game just passes a coach by. I think that is what has happened with Richt. It probably happened back in 2010 to be honest.
