For years the Florida Gators had to play the gauntlet of the SEC plus play Miami and FSU, who at that time were in 1/3 of every title game. You want to be the best, you have to beat the best. Do you really think teams with cream puff schedules like ND, Boise or Indiana are going to win it all? He’ll no. They are not battle tested. Iron sharpens iron.

Well after finding the right QB and knocking Kiffin out we need to prepare for our rightful spot in the playoffs next season.

Damn is Vandy that bad? I mean this always gets upvoted. It’s sad that they are the doormat of the conference that if they beat the number one team in the nation at home by 5 on the first month of the season, for the first time in what.. 100 years, it’s somehow a terrible thing.

But in 2026
My out of conference schedule would be.
Tarleton St.
New Mexico St.
Florida A&m
Slippery Rock
If every SEC starts doing that things will change in the playoff
BOISE ST. #3 and Arizona St. #4 and byes is ridiculous
I think both teams deserve to be in the playoff. But not as the #3 & 4 seeds
They have to rerank the 12 teams that get in

You’re missing the point Gump…your team lost to two unranked teams…not a single Playoff team did that including three loss Clemson…try harder.
