That really is an amazing accomplishment for those players, and it's okay to admit that Joe Burrow had a fantastic season last year.

They're not mutually exclusive - both can be true.

This is dumb, and OP is too dumb to realize it. Think about it, Alabama had THREE players that received 1st place votes for Heisman in a single year. While I agree with the take that Covid certainly diminished the level of competition for Bama this year due to players opting out and what have you, that doesn't change the fact that Alabama kept their shite together like always, and absolutely dominated the college season. It may not be the best Alabama team or their best season ever, but I think it's Saban's best coaching job for sure.

the heisman is notoriously a QB-first award. max jones just had what bama posters are calling the greatest single season in college QB history, and in the toughest conference, but he didn't win the heisman going away? didn't even finish 2nd? OOF. that's irrelevance of the highest order. that's a 2004 auburn level snub.

Najee should have been in the top 4 Kyle trask three too many interceptions Najee should have been where trash was and Trevor should have been third and Mac should be second

I wouldn't go disparaging your competition.

Some bama ranters are busy telling us why their team is the best of all time; all while telling us how bad their competition was during the "furlough year".

Doesn't compute, really.

None of the three Heisman winners at Alabama was a QB.

Mac should have been second but Trask carried that team.

I think the Cotton Bowl made it pretty clear that while Trask had a great year and did a lot of heavy lifting Toney, Copeland, Grimes and Pitts had a whole helluva lot to do with it as well.

Saban & Staff kept it business as usual and they did their job. I commend the coaching and support staff for keeping the "the main thing the main thing" during a global crisis.

I know you know better than to think Alabama fans don’t talk about past accomplishments quite often

Not that it’s a problem. I personally think discussion of past athletes is great, but for everyone
