The dry spell ended when Urban left in 2010, so it makes no sense to use 38.

Its logical proof. The teams make the rivalry, not the town.

LSU sure does concern about people's sexuality.

Amazing how Georgia had no problems with the game being in Jacksonville until they started losing 8 of every 10 games played

Could it also be the unfairness of 340 miles compared to 70 traveled annually just for this game?

SIAP

If SEC goes to 9 games then Jville is done because we'd lose a home game every year.

That's what the teeter totter is about.

That's the 1st thing that popped into my head when I read this. Just a few weeks ago was an article about 9 game SEC schedule.

I read that somewhere earlier today. If you won't go Home/Home - rotate between Atl. & Jax..

I'm talking about a National dry spell. Again, the UGA-UF series is like the OU-UT, except only one team has any real hardware to show for it. How many East titles have come down to that game ? 2012 ?

UGA eliminated UF in 2012 and 2018.

When Spurrier was hired you had like a 22 game series lead. It has evaporated to 8. In typical Georgia fashion you have choked a huge lead in the all time series away in the last 25 plus years. That isn't trolling. You Georgia fans sure are a dumb

Big talk from a fan of a team that is 16-14 vs their state rival over the last 30 years.

Not what I am asking. When was there a one game difference in the two teams with one of them being at the top of the Division ? I know in 2012 they both were 7-1.

Home and home and it's a regular rivalry game atmosphere. In Jacksonville it's an event. People from both sides pack that place, and it's an awesome spectacle.

As an outsider looking in, that's how I view it. It would be disappointing to see it become a home-and-home series.

In 1992 when the inaugural SECCG was going to be held, UF beat UGA to go to Birmingham of all places. Its the armpit of the south.

In 1983-84 I was relocated to that dump by the company I worked for. I was supervisor of that region and traveled as far as Tuscaloosa. The CEO was a huge Bama fan and I had to endure many luncheons at the country club that was 99.9 % Bama diehards. The benefits were great but I hated Bham. It had high unemployment but no one wanted to work, they wanted their unemployment checks.

One night I go hear all the crowd noise from Legions, as Boston College and Doug Flutie were in town. Of course BC won.

"Real hardware" God almighty you Aubbies kill me with the NC's ARE THE ONLY THING THAT COUNTS! narrative.

So you guys only had "real hardware" 2 seasons in your entire existince?

So all the rest of your seasons were shite?Even when you won an SECC or played for a NC?

I forgot you guys have Ohio State,USC,Bama and Oklahoma standards.

Don't you have better things to do?Like bitching above moving the DSOR?Gee,seemed you guys were fine with playing it in November back in the 60's,70's,80's and 90's.

Wonder what changed?

AU has had two undefeated seasons in the last 15 years, played for two NCs and won one. But my point is when you are not playing for anything, you need a game that will at least make you relevant to the CF World. That one game over the last 38 years for UGA was the Cocktail Party. Mainly because it was played in Jax.

LMAO!So the "only game that made UGA relevant the Cocktail Party?

Unbelievable but typical of the Aubbie narrative and hatred of your new Daddy.

I get that you guys have all but given up on the Bama rivalry and your sole focus is on UGA and the hatred it's even worse now that we're dominating the series but you really need to get some perspective instead of bitching about the date of the DSOR because we're now winning on a regular basis.

Because the lore of the World Largest Cocktail Party enabled the Networks a chance to market the game. UF still had the FSU game to have some relevancy, but UGA could say the same.
