...wishing like hell that football was in season. Truly, this time of year is the long, dark tea time of the soul.

Bring back my SEC football!

That's because the tide suck at every sport but, football. I'd be feeling that way as well if I was a tide fan.

Imagine the life of a Tennessee fan that suffers through everything.

There's always a lot of exaggeration ontRant, but it's the simple truth that Bama is wildly bad at just about everything but football.

I think it's almost statistically impossible for that amount of suckage, but the results are there.

And yet, every other fanbase in the conference would change places with us in a heartbeat, except for maybe UK. The jealousy is palpable.

I'd throw away any basketball hopes for eternity, but I like college baseball too much to toss it aside.

Is this supposed to be a derogatory comment? You knuckle draggers would give up anything and everything to be in our position, and everyone knows it.

Agreed no way in hell I'd change winning 6 national
Championships to be Alabama. It's not like we haven't won any in football. We got two in the last 14 years.

Alabama has won 8 national championships in 5 different sports since 2011.

To each his own but I love the variety of sports year round. You've got football season followed by basketball season and how can you not love march madness? College baseball in this conference is second to none. Future MLB players are here. Yes, football is king but being a big sports fan in general, I love the variety.

You might be bored as hell 9 months out of the year but I'm not.

C'mon now, that's sounds as Bowl Jackson bragging about Auburn's equestrian championships. In the major sports Bama is the king in football and nobody can dispute it , but don't bring gymnastics, tiddly winks, checkers, etc into this. You're better than that George.

Coming from a fan of a team that has lost their last Six games
to Bama... Yea I guess I would be feeling like you.

We are literally talking about other sports and the board opinion is Alabama is terrible at all of them besides football.

Alabama is terrible at baseball right now. Downright miserable, the worst team we've had in the modern era. We're pretty competitive or very good in almost everything else.

So if we are talking about baseball I agree, we're awful. But unless I'm mistaken "every other sport" isn't just baseball.

Nobody is arguing Alabama is Florida as an athletic department. That'd be silly.

This notion that Alabama is football and a bunch of bottom 3 conference programs is laughably stupid.

I kinda feel for your players because your baseball team is better than your record. You've lost more than your share of nail biters. It's like a bad jinx or something.

By the way, whatever happened to Jim Wells? That guy was a good coach.

Yea, they play hard. I'm not sure how they haven't just emotionally collapsed yet.

Wells retired and hand picked Gaspard to succeed him. It didn't work out well.
