I’ve been drinking a lot more. I’m trying not to ‘not look forward to anything’. When I think like that, I get depressed and drink more. I already take anti-anxiety pills. Throw in some zzquil and I have some fun evenings.

I have lost a total of 6 lbs lol despite drinking a little more beer and occasional bourbon. The beer adds calories but I’ve been eating more home cooked meals, you know, like 2 veggies and a meat, so that offsets beer calories.

Have not done fast food in 6 weeks. That tells you how many calories are in fast food when you can drink more beer and still lose some weight.

I have a 5-acre lake on our land that keeps flooding. We are trying to build a dam, but it is a serious dilemma due to the rain. Mother Nature is a cruel Bitch. That part of the land is slowly becoming a Swamp. Any of you "Delta-Baws" that can offer advice?

Hey,

Lay off dam works during the rainy season!
You’ll need to do the work during dry season prolly Oct or so ... Save yourself the grief

Like Kentucky said, lotsa laws regarding Dams ... esp if it’s an existing Creek or waterway

Best is to dig out existing edges of your pond to have a nice drop right off the edge to a few feet deep ... You can always extend the size of your lake

Before doing your dam at the full length of the low point, you’ll have to dig deep and lay down a CLAY CORE LEVEE ...

Clay content 40% if you want it to last and hold to the depth you build it ... Esp if you’re loaded with that red dirt

Next, run your overflow pipe at least 12” below the top of your levee

Send pics and ask specifics and we can help

There’s always Pond Boss .com as a great source of help in your Specific area, and it’s guaranteed that Pond Boss has a pond expert with 100 miles of you that has all the answers and has dealt with all your problems

We aren’t here to discuss land (although looking for 4-5 acres). We are here to discuss how everyone is handling this no sports Corona shite.

So far so good though as I have managed to triple my profits from my previous job. God is watching over me.

Why do you think God chose you?

Overall I haven’t drank more. But I did drink both Friday and Saturday nights which made me feel like a young lass (or on vacation) again cuz that never really happens anymore.

It will be ok, buttercup. We all have our down times I’ve learned. Try to make yourself look forward to something. Peace and happiness to you.

I have drank less beer and more hard liquor. I'm currently right now drinking captain morgan spiced rum mixed with those pure sugar cane cokes. I don't drink everyday but just on the weekends.

I have also planted two tomato plants and okra. I plan on doing a small green house in the future.

You've lost count of the days. Today is Monday. God bless you, sir.

I'm off on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I work four ten hour days, so I don't work traditional hours. It is still my weekend until tomorrow at 5:00 AM.

Looking forward to the awesome UFC card this Saturday. Actual live sports, which happens to be one of the top 2 most exciting sports, and a sick card to boot.

Also, definitely boozing a good amount these days.
