Thats why this trophy is stupid. I said that already.
I do think it’s interesting however that you’re full of shite because there were plenty of people counting Aggies out. This happens every year.
It happened last year in football. It happened this year in baseball. In basketball last year. In football already this year.
Every year the media and your fans just assume Texas is better and objectively, many years (not all) they aren’t.
Texas is way over hyped and A&M is way under hyped. Every year.
That in a nutshell is my point. But it’s not that big of a deal. Actually it’s easier to win as an underdog and probably good for us.
So this trophy is just one more example of this. But to answer your question, we actually could care less if we ever played you ever. Remember we did that exact thing for 12 years. We don’t need to beat you to have a good season.
Truthfully losing to LSU hurts us more than losing to Texas. They are closer to Houston where we get many athletes. We don’t actually recruit each others players often. Texas fans go to Texas and Aggies fans go to A&M. But LSU takes our players a lot. And we take theirs a lot.
So I’d rather beat LSU than Texas if I am honest.

Saying never was silly. However I’d bet Texas will win this the majority of the time probably 65 - 80% and that’s fine by me. Congrats on this year yall earned it and deserve the credit. I can’t stand hypocrisy and if Texas fans are going to act like we care about our entire athletic department and pump up non revenue sports we have to admit you beat us in those sports this year. This longhorn isn’t afraid to admit it. My hope is this spurs cdc to improve Track and field

I’m guessing that means they seemly us in both genders for track, field, and cross country?
Also is swimming and diving included here?
Either way we field the same amount of kids on the above teams as they do so that failure falls on our coaching staff and those teams period
