Maybe a video will help you since you are literally to dumb to read and understand English. This is 4 years ago. Listen to what the ref says. Its for clapping.

Why do you think that contradicts anything I posted? You might be too stupid to argue with.

The head coach isn't allowed to stop play without calling a timeout IDGAF if he's pointing out that Bigfoot is on the field.

Did you see the Auburn safety clapping?

I get it...but, Georgia did not use the third time out, so I am confused about all of the faux outrage over it. Let's pretend they took the timeout away from Georgia. What changes in the game?

He was obviously signaling time out. Like there is indisputable video showing that.

He may have been arguing about the clapping, fine. But he should have been charged a fine out. The reason he wasn’t is because he lied and said he wasn’t signaling time out, and that just a blatant lie.

SEC officials obviously bungled that.

Then why did they give him his timeout back?

And new play clock.

False. They restarted the play clock at one second.

Wrong. They reset the play clock to 25 seconds.

Never once did Kirby make an argument that Auburn was clapping.

This appears to be false.

He issued a statement claiming he never tried to call a time out, so he's a fricking liar.

Clay Travis is bought by the SEC/REC. What do you expect

Then I would expect him to take the position benefiting Auburn here since they aren’t a threat for a trip to Atlanta.

I'm done with you and the bama fan. Its obvious your IQ suggests a vast amount of inbreeding in your blood line. Multiple people have explained it to you. Its in the rule you all posted. Its in the AI response you posted. Its in the video and you still are struggling with something that has been a rule for years and called many times.

Because it makes no sense. Either there should have been a timeout charged, a penalty on Auburn, or a penalty on Georgia.

Can’t be none of the above.

Its a judgement call you fricking idiot. If the ref thinks they're doing it intentionally to frick with the cadence they'll flag it, if it's a safety 20 yards off the play clapping to get a dbs attention they won't. Its fricking simple, just like you.

He then goes back out to the ref and does the clapping thing the entire time. AND most importantly, he is pointing towards his own team, NOT Auburn.

At about 28 seconds into the video in the OP, Kirby claps and puts toward the Auburn defense. It also sounds like you can faintly hear him say, “He’s clapping.”

The AI response I posted says exactly what I’ve argued this entire thread.

You were the one arguing that the defense clapping is always a penalty in every situation. You’re clearly and obviously wrong. You know you’re wrong.

Doesn’t matter a clap is a clap and it’s clearly stated in the rules.

Kirby called a timeout.
This is why they stopped play.
Kirby pitched a fit about an Auburn safety clapping to get another defender's attention and then pointed in his direction and the defender realigned.
Kirby then said Auburn committed a foul after the play clock was at zero.
The officials, in my opinion, explained to Kirby that the safety wasn't trying to mimic the snap.
They then reset the play clock and didn't charge Kirby a timeout in a fit of incredibly bad officiating.

The center even looks back at the QB after the clapping. He even knows that DB isn't trying to.mimic the snap even if he can hear it which he probably cant.
