What excuses? It's kind of a fact Arkansas isn't that good at football.

This is confusing. Who is "Arkansas" if not the Board?

Is SI saying that Arkansas is pressuring themselves?

Stupid article is stupid

Meaning those that donate to the athletic department want Malzahn.

You'd be surprised how many NW Arkansas people do not like Gus. I am not one of them, I'm neutral. He's far better than Bert. But there are a lot of people who hate his guts for whatever reason.

Right, because Arkansas never had any form of football success anywhere or at anytime. Never mind those 42 Bowl appearances, including 13 Cotton, 6 Sugar, 2 Orange, and Fiesta Bowls. Never mind 13 conference titles. Never mind National titles( two if you count like Bama does). Never mind 3 SEC title game appearances ( que the queers for the ‘02 one).
Never mind Bobby Petrino winning 29 games in three seasons and finishing top 5 ranked @ 11-2 his last year on sideline. Yeah, there’s never been any football success at Arkansas ever.
Btw, how many times has UK even had the opportunity to play for an SEC title since the 1992 expansion?
I understand you're responding to a Kentucky fan, but honestly, nobody gives a rats arse what happened generations past, and nobody is impressed that you finished 3rd in the West in 2011.
All I remember is y'all lost to effing tOSU in a bowl game, breaking the SECs streak over them in bowl games.
Y'all have never won the conference and you've had 25 years to do so. So, no. You've never been a relevant SEC team

last 30 years you are ranked 38th in win percentage
20 years--43rd
10 years--42nd
5 years--65th

So definitely worse recently, but you guys dont have much history until you go way back

Coaches that come to Auburn win football games (the only exception to that in the last 60 years has been Doug Barfield and even he had a couple of nice seasons mixed in).

If Gus leaves, Auburn will get another coach and continue to win football games. Can't say the same with any confidence about Gus if he goes to a lesser program like Arkansas.

There is no panic amongst Auburn fans and there is absolutely zero reason for panic. Auburn will be fine no matter what.

Recent auburn head coaching hires don't jive with what you are saying. You took a gene chizik hire from a 4-14 head coach, you then hires a Arkansas state coach that was decent. When was the last time auburn hires a well known head coach? I think tuberville came from ole miss. Now with that said you guys have been extremely lucky these hires have worked out. Makes me wonder why they have worked out so successful since these coaches are average at best at any other program.
