I can see it happening. They need Tua to have a bad game, but that has happened before.

Will the Bulldogs play as well as they did against ULL? Because if so, LSU will score 70

I don't think this game is as much about Alabama's defense as it will be LSU's defense. They gave up a ton of points to Texas and I think Tua and company are a much better offensive team than Texas. Stopping Tua is the key to this game.

Against Texas...
If CEH is your only successful ground attack...and he gets 87 yards vs. Alabama or Auburn...are you going to win the game?

Because I don't see Burrow throwing 450+ vs. either of those. If he does, then I think he will be holding up the Heisman by year's end.

This scenario only works if the west wins the conference.

What LSU has done is make it more likely that the SEC gets two teams in. If LSU and Bama finish with one loss or less OSU and OU will have to be undefeated to get in.

no Emery sighting.

True freshmen RBs need to learn how to pick up the blitz in a pass first offense.

He'll be playing more by November.

But then LSU returns the RB that gained 145 yards on 19 carries against UGA last year, Clyde, "The Glide" Edwards-Helaire. I'm thinking he hasn't forgotten how to run the ball.

Of course this happens if the November game is close. I think LSU can beat Bama and anyone that thinks otherwise is being a fool but if LSU gets blown out...

I'm ready for Bama and Georgia to play a bigger game so we can see something.

This. And glad it doesn't. We look very good, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the rest of the show. Even if there's a hickup along the way, this season is looking fun as frick.

Realistically, as a fan, this season is the most competitive our team has been in several years. Defense has been stout in other years, but the offensive scheme was always terrible, despite having some great skill players. The about face on offense making the Tigers a more well rounded team is the basis for the optimism.

Wtf as an LSU fan even I am getting tired of Clemson's shite. You kicked their arse last year, I get it. You won on an illegal play in 16. What happened after all that bragging after the won in 16? Bama beat that arse liej a drum. Just STFU already.

Now LSU could easily make the playoff so long as it's a close game in Tuscaloosa no matter who wins. Just have to have UT beat OU in big 12 conference championship and UGA lose big in sec championship game or lose 2 total.

I don't see Clemson losing nor Ohio State. Pac 10 isn't getting a team in. If UT wins big 12, LSU goes ahead of them imo
