Shriners Hospitals for Children College Classic 2017

Three top tier SEC teams against three top tier Big XII teams face off in a college baseball series starting today at Minute Maid Park in Houston, TX. This includes a showdown with #1 TCU vs. #2 LSU tonight. All games on some version of Fox Sports throughout the weekend. Good luck to all the SEC teams. Make us proud boys.

Apparently, they're not running many TV cameras for the game. Lots of close ups and off camera action. Not how I'm use to watching baseball on TV.

They are apparently expecting big crowds. They are now selling club level (2nd deck--not to be confused with Diamond Club behind home plate) tickets for $24 for tonight (opens at 6:00; prior to that time ticket will get you into lower level GA) and tomorrow (opening at 2:30). Don't recall them doing that in the past.

If I was an MLB scout, this is perfect. All these nationally ranked teams with talented players in one location. Hell, everybody will probably be operating radar guns in the stands.

Coach Mainieri estimated there will be 80 scouts in attendance this weekend, that's an average of 3 scouts per MLB team. Alot of talent on display this weekend. 5-6 wins by the SEC teams will definitely help our conference SOS and RPI.

Where did this Ole Miss starting pitcher fall in their rotation?
Baylor is not this good. We would be excited with a .500 record and I assume we are getting everyone's 3rd pitcher this weekend.

Big win for Baylor. It's a bigger win for Baylor than it is loss for Ole Miss, if that makes sense.

Our pitching wasn't the issue, we couldn't touch yalls starter. Y'all are 10-0 now pretty legit.
