typical LSU fan.
I went out of my way to give effusive praise to TM and LSU's 2011 season, acknowledging the arse beating you gave us and how terrific the team and player were.
But the one single play I took umbrage to you latch onto as if I slapped your grandma. LSU in a nutshell. Say anything less than praise and you're a bitch.
There is so much irony considering the amount of times I've seen the picture of Patrick Peterson's interception on this website.
You've given effusive praise to Mathieu, but apparently mentioning one missed call has taken that away.

Altered pic and the camera angle is askew in your favor.

altered pic, good Lord yall are an insane bunch. How exactly is it altered? Why don't you go look up the game on youtube and screenshot the realtime video to show the "real" version then instead of the apparently fake version that CBS has put out

I was stunned at how many dropped passes UGA had in that first half. I figured LSU would make adjustments at the halftime and put a stop to it and they did, however it UGA takes advantage of those first half opportunities, it's a closer game for sure.

The Badger is the best DB LSU has ever had IMO. It is beyond sad he didn’t get to play his JR year (his fault).
Loved watching him from the minute he stepped on campus.
The GOAT

You seem to be the only person with this opinion. However, I've always known you were a dumb arse

Mathieu was the most impactful football player in the nation in 2011.
But not surprising he didn't win. Maybe if he would have returned punts earlier in the season.

I remember he was one of the only guys I saw tackle Cam one on one and he was a true freshman when they played.

Hahahahaha, he def dropped it early. Not sure why they didnt worry to show the replay until a quarter later but not 100% sure it would have made a difference.

He basically tackled anyone and everyone, solo most of the time.
He really had/has one of the most appropriate nick names every. He played like he didnt care about risk, just a sort of reckless abandon. And he was all over the field taking shite everywhere from anyone like the honey badger runs around all over taking what it wants.
Just a fun player to watch. Before him my all time favorite DB was a very small guy that was about 5'6 or 5'7 for AU named Fred Smith. Dude was short and looked tiny, but he was a head hunting killing machine that gave zero fricks back in the early 90s for AU.
Tyrann reminded me of him, though the honey badger was a lot better and did a lot more.

I really think it was "would have" and not "should have". ESPN loved Mathieu.

Same way Ndamukong Suh was the most impactful player in 09 when Ingram won.

No, they got it right, but Tyrann Mathieu was right there on the heels of RGIII.
If it had been a year like 2009, he gets it.
