IMO Herman got fired because he lost the locker room over the Eyes of Texas issue. On top of that, he is an a-hole. Some of his own players were telling recruits to go elsewhere..

He lost his job the day he lost to Oklahoma and the pic above happened.

On the field, you can definitely make the argument that Herman deserved to be retained.

2020 Texas 7-3

Lost to ISU by 3 points
(winning by 10 in 2nd half)

Lost to OU in 4 OT

Lost to TCU by 2 points
(fumbled inside 5 with 1 min left)

That’s a pretty good football team.

I would like to thank coach Herman for getting Mike a stoops ran off. It also gave me confidence that Riley would to what he had to do to put the team in the best position he could, to win.

Nolan Ryan has struck out 7 MLB Father & Sons

Stan Musial had the same amount of career hits on the road and at home

More people have walked on the moon than runs allowed by Mariano Rivera in the post season.

Back in the 80's when I was in the Marine Corps and returning home after a year in Okinawa I was on the shuttle in Atlanta Airport and sat next to Abdullah the Butcher...

Guy wasn't but about 5'5". The surprising thing I learned is that he was as big around as he was tall

This may be the most shocking thing in this thread. You had options on who to cheer for and willingly chose Texas A&M.

Barry Seal...That's amazing. I had never heard of this guy until this past weekend. I watched a documentary on him. Interesting life. Pretty cool that you were coached by him.

I was adopted by parents who lived in Beaumont Tx. My birth parents live in Louisiana. Then moved to and raised in Oklahoma. That is why my second favorite team is LSU. Would be awesome if OU and LSU meet in at least a bowl game or Playoffs.
