Yup. It’s perfectly normal for an 18 yr old kid being raised by a single mom in section 8 housing to buy a Dodge Demon

It’s common knowledge that Saban despises all the NIL stuff.

And yet he's on record saying he's for it every time he's asked or talks about it. When they were talking about it yesterday on Game Day he proposed the idea of making them contracted employees of the school.

Gillis looked like he could suck a basketball through a water hose.

Amazing that he called him a cheater to his face on national TV multiple times and that the playing field is even now that everyone can openly pay players.

Gillis had some Bud Light liquid courage

I’m going to defend Saban here. I know someone from his staff for most of his time in Alabama. I was told that once he had won his first there, a kid would show up with a parent and a number that such and such school (LSU included) had offered, and they’d be willing to take that number and sign with Saban, b/c they wanted to be coached by him

Of course, his legacy had already started and was set to have been even more dominant had he stayed at LSU, where there is more inherent NFL talent than AL.

He was iconic. AL fans will need to gain some perspective right quick, b/c this run for them was much more about him than the school, and now the whole playing field has been leveled

Nick Saban is a introvertasshole and everybody knows it. But at the time Bama hired him that’s what we needed. So he was our a-hole but now he’s college game days.

Bama had to get him from LSU, because he worked 24hrs a day at player evaleation and recruiting. He did no get top classes his top 3 years at Bama. He ran off players to make room. He got Donta Hitower as a 3 star tht UT and others didnt want. He's the best colledge CEO Coach ever, He always said the players win the games. Told Mal Moore he couldnt win the SEC without the best players, and he worked so hard they put in the "Saban Rule" because he went to every HS all day every day recruiting. Anybody can pay a player. It took a few yeas for Saban to dominate recruiting. He did it at LSU and he did it at Bama. If not for Mack Brown uTX may have stoled him away from bama.

This reads like an Alabama trailer park fan

In fairness, he was calling out the entire SEC. But, yes, Sabana did not look pleased. He handled it well, but I doubt he was very happy.

There are lots of suicide bombers here. They will gladly blow themselves up as long as it does a little damage to Alabama.

Shane Gillis has a whole bit about Alabama football. As you could imagine, Alabama and the south are the punchline. It is obvious that like many on here, Alabama owns a little real estate in Shane Gillis’ brain.

I thought Livvy Dunne burned him worse, but then he shocked the world by coming back with an even better shot at Skenes with the "first time doing homework at LSU" comment.

Gillis just had a prepared mini-rant, and Saban may murder him next time they meet.

It's a little bit different when someone calls you a cheater directly to your face on national tv. I am sure Saban was furious, but handled it as well as can be expected. He should have quipped back and thanked Fat Albert for the Indiana Jones comparison, but I am sure he would have been roasted online for fat shaming an obese person.

Alabama Jones off the cuff is incredible. Gillis is a very funny comedian even though I strongly dislike Notre Dame

Nick Saban and Bama has shoved the football so far up your azz that when you smile you can't tell if that is your teeth or the threads on the football.

That's not a "jibe". That's someone on national television saying that your entire legacy and career was based on cheating, basically right to your face.

He just said what every other college football fan already knew. The Foghorn Leghorn "Why I never..." reaction to hearing it from Alabama Jones and the gump nation is what's funny.
