Look at all that production..
Dutton and Coleman are the two biggest from that group so I would hardly say they are losing their entire roster.

Yes. Like Alabama, who LSU finished behind this year. They had a tie record in conference play, but Alabama won the tie breaker because they won the season series. And that was with Luke Holman, Tommy Tanks, and all these other portal guys you likely won’t have next year. This season we saw how much Skenes and Crews meant to LSU last season. LSU didn’t bring in guys that even came close to replacing them. If LSU doesn’t bring in some talent this season, especially on the mound, next year might be worse than this season.

LSU didn’t make the CWS because there was too much dead weight. As in not enough good players.
Most teams usually don’t make it to the CWS when they don’t have enough good players ya know.

Vitello lost 14 last year, this is 11. LSU will be fine this is pretty standard nowadays sadly. Luckily none of them were huge contributors. Most the arms who went in portal we replaced with better.
