‘95 was probably the best UF team ever.
I think 2001 was Spurrier's best team. They were good enough to give Miami a run if they brought their A game, I think.

Definitely his most talented. I don't think anyone was beating Miami though.

They were the only team who could have kept that national title game reasonably close. I don't know how that team lost to Tennessee.

Ole Miss was decimated with injuries for that one.

South Carolina is 10-14 in bowl games.
Ole Miss is 24-14.
Ole Miss has won 24 bowl games.
South Carolina has only played in 24 bowl games in the history of their program

Bo Wallace’s shoulder was so destroyed by that game that it made Drew Brees’ arm strength his last year look like Russel Wilson. We had no down field threat and TCU knew it

LSU getting skullfricked 42-20 in the TaxAct Bowl last year was pretty hilarious

Where are the r-kansas posters ITT???
Come on piglets, remind everyone about the 2008 Cotton Bowl and how McFadden did nothing against Mizzou.
Mizzou's Tony Temple still holds the Cotton Bowl rushing record and just scored again. Tigers ran it down their throats and made 'em like it.

I nominate the 2021 Liberty Bowl: Texas Tech 34 State 7. I know we had 5 defensive starters out, but damn that was awful. Letting the freaking Sand Aggies run it down our throat was straight embarrassing.

That was bad but the 2018 bowl game against Iowa was worse. Just flat gifted that game to them. Lost 27-22. Winning TD pass went right through our WR’s hands into their DB for an interception. Wasted the best defense in the nation that year with an 8-5 record.
That one was way worse than this past year. All the ridiculous players quitting the team was pathetic. And that is the term that needs to be used….quitters…quit…

Arkansas vs. Minnesota in the 2002 music city bowl.

Yeah, that Iowa game epitomized the JoMo era. Gave up -1 rushing yards and freaking lost.

You won’t find many SEC/Arkansas fans who care much about that loss.
Nutt had just been let go and nobody expected much out of a team with an interim head coach.
But congrats to Missouri.

Nutt was fired, team quit and no one cared because hog fans were happy that Nutt was gone. The rest of his cronies were still coaching and so the arse whipping was justified for those clowns.

I'm old enough to have seen every team have bad bowl losses. But, State's worst had to be losing by 23 to Air Force in the Liberty Bowl in the early 90's. We were down 21-0 early and just looked horrible. And, we had a sellout crowd of what had to be 90 to 95 percent State fans.

Definitely brutal but no shame in losing to 2GOAT 95 Nebraska team.

Yes the 38-15 drubbing by Air Force ranks up there as well. I think Coach Sherrill let the players party all week before bowl games.
I think the only bowl games we won under him were the Snow Bowl over A&M (which actually was a great game that went into OT) and the Peach Bowl over Clemson that gave us a 10 win season in 1999.

2019 peach bowl 1st half was the worst beating in the history of cfb
In a half for sure, maybe in a game
Oklahoma doesn’t count though so Nevermind

1971 Alabama unveiled the wishbone, started the season with a win over USC in LA, went undefeated and then played Nebraska in the Orange Bow. It was 38-6 and wasn't even as close as that score. Auburn got waxed by OU in their bowl and Nebraska, OU, and Colorado (all 3 in the same conference) finished 1,2,3. It was a gigantic arse kicking of a really good team by a great team.
