I thought I read that both had gotten on board, but I only read a headline and not the article to find out what changed - them or the bill.
EDIT: I found another article. Looks like the SEC and the Big 10 got some changes including doubling the shared revenue cap to then have limits/controls on 3rd party NIL deals with conference or school partners. But this was also back in late July, and of course the Senate and Thune went on recess without doing anything.

There are 42 players/plantiffs involved in the lawsuit against the NCAA. There are multiple injunctions from around the country where no school was subpoenaed by the NCAA. No, I actually do think that Bama and other fans are concerned this will give LSU a big advantage as Lane is elite and so is the roster.
Took 3-9 FAU for 3 previous years to him and won 2 of 3 conference titles. Twitter loves saying ‘he hasn’t won anything’ like he’s supposed to win a Nati at 3-9 FAU lol.
Took 4-8 Ole Miss for 4 previous years to him and went 10-2 most years and was the reason they went to CFP semi’s.
He’s had 12 consecutive years of top 20 offenses in ypg at mid teams.
Name any other coach taking 3-9 bad programs and 4-8 mid programs to CFP semis. I don’t even think Indiana was 3-9 or 4-8 when Cig took over.

LSU won't be punished. If the SEC prevailed on Thursday, LSU would remove 3 players from their football roster. That simple.
I think it is more likely that the SEC will not be successful under the same judge. The SEC would be forced to appeal in that case.
