Eleven championships won against non-SEC.
Eleven runner-ups against non-SEC.
Last SEC national champion against a non-SEC team: 2025 LSU over Coastal Carolina.
Last SEC runner-up to non-SEC: 2018 Arkansas to Oregon State.
Oklahoma has a standard to uphold when joining the SEC national championship fraternity. The pressure is on! OU has been playing with house money since the Atlanta regional win. But since they are here, might as well finish the job! We really want this!!!

The standard of being 50/50?
Fortunately, there is an exactly 50%…. Because they are going to either win or lose…. ??

Interesting stats. LSU is 8-1 in finals. That includes being 2-1 vs SEC opponents in the final. (Bama 97 win, UF 2017 loss, UF 2023 win)

This would be OU's 3rd title, where would that put them in SEC standings for CWS championships?

In this new age of sports with NIL and portal commits, Bama needs to do better.
Zero championships since *

If Oklahoma wins they would have 3 baseball national championships. That’s elite company.
