That was just the excuse used. FSU got left out b/c the committee was going to make sure the SEC had a team in there. If Georgia had won the SECCG, the rankings would be

This right here. Watch Saban in the interview after the game. He knew he did not have to politic to get in. I think he knew the SEC winner was a lock

With the third string QB, who wouldnt be the starter going forward.

I know. That was my point. Saying their defense isn't legit is beyond stupid.

Saban started campaigning after the Auburn game.

He knew he was going to get in.

Who won? With a third string QB? Thats more impressive than anything Alabama has done all year.

Mich put up 213 yds of offense and came out of this weekend as the #1 seed… LOL

I’d be very worried if I was Michigan

They could win the game and the committee might decide to just put Bama in the championship game

Hosed? How so? They take top four teams; not solely based on record. #5 FSU and #6 UGA could be swapped places. Georgia better than Florida State.

FSU got screwed and the 4 best teams got in. Both statements can be true

Are they true though?

Alabama FSU on a neutral field tomorrow, who's winning the game?

Depends on whether they are the Alabama that needed a miracle to get by Auburn or the Alabama that beat Georgia.

No one would be arguing for Texas b/c they lost a game to a lesser opponent. But to get an SEC team in, they had to give it to the SEC champ (Bama). And to put bama in, they had to put Texas in front of bama.

This is the case. Texas and Alabama were a package deal.

Lmaoooo… man you’re one dumb frick..you’re blind sided by the elephant dick of Bama..you’re complaining about everything Florida State did right but yet they did wrong in your view becuz they barely beat this team and that team with a 2nd & 3rd string Qb..(3-0)… look at Bama and explain to me how in your mind they pummeled everyone they played this season too and they had their starting qb .. guess that doesn’t count right?.. how do you know that Florida State can’t beat Michigan?..you don’t know Jack…that’s the point…

Exactly.

This move was solely to put both Alabama and Texas in the playoffs.

Georgia or Alabama destroys FSU, even if they had to immediately play FSU after playing each other!!

12 team playoff can't get here soon enough. Georgia has just as big as a gripe. Had a 29 game win streak, back to back NC and lost in the SECCG and they're out.

The expanded playoff could have been here already. Wasn't it when OU and Texas were announced to the SEC that the powers that be panicked and decided not to expand. We then got the Big Ten/ PAC alliance. I believe the ACC voted not to expand then. They ended up hurting their own conference. I feel bad for FSU but life isn’t fair sometime.

Not to mention that their offense was their strength and their defense was good enough. To take away the offense, takes away their ability to compete with the best teams in the country.

Thanks for exposing yourself.

Their defense is number 14 in the country and the number 8 scoring defense

but the main reason they were left out is because a player got injured which is bullshite and a bad precedent for CFB
isn’t their goal to find the four best teams to play.

Without Travis they probably don’t best LSU. And that’s not a real high bar to step over this year

What the hell?

I would take FSU's defensive front against any in the country. They won tight games against Clemson, BC, and Miami with late stands. They shut down us and Florida in the second halves of those games.

Yeah, I dont get that, FSU had an argument that the dont need a QB...I think they would be wrong. Those two they trotted out there will lose you a game with a quickness.
