We are about 5 I would say. completely unproven. this team has no personality or identity yet, and even as a huge UK fan, they haven't grown on me yet.

This will be Cal's biggest coaching challenge at UK to date, even more than the 2013 team.

How the hell is USC so high? Don’t most have them bottom 3?

Ole Miss finishes in the top 5 of the SEC. Lock of the Century.

Agreed. This is probably gonna be AK's most talented team he's ever had at Ole Miss. No excuse to not go dancing this year.

I see us being top 5 in the SEC. It's good we're returning most of our starters.

Ole Miss lost two of their top 4 scorers. Not sure why y'all think this is going to be your best team ever under AK. It's not.

And AK is still AK. Bottom half of the league talent wise and coaching. OM gunna OM.

Somebody doesn't watch SEC basketball. I'll agree OM usually has bottom half of the league talent, but the coaching is obviously top half of the league considering they finish above their projection every single year.

Who is he better than?
Pearl? Nope
Calipari? Nope
Martin? Nope
Barnes? Nope
Howland? Nope
Drew? Nope
Johnson? Nope
Anderson? Nope

He's 9th at best.

Most of A&M's good players suspended for the first few games doesn't help very much. I think A&M is overrated - yet again

I think we'll lose a lot of the tougher OOC games early with guys missing the but the SEC is still relatively weak. I think top 3 in the conference is very doable.

Then why does he routinely finish ahead of a lot of these guys with less talent? Seems pretty obvious to me. If these guys are so much better, and their talent is much better, then explain why Kennedy either finishes ahead or right with some of these guys.

Are you suggesting Mike White is a bottom 5 coach in the conference?

I'd rank the FBI in the Top 5.

In all seriousness, once you get outside of the Top 5 it's a hard ranking to pin. You still have some pretty fresh coaches in the conference and it's touch and go as to who is going to be available for respective programs.

I completely agree with this. You can't really say AK is a bottom half coach if you also say OM has bottom half talent because he finishes in the top half of the league almost every season.
