Yes a guy having to start Warren thought he should get the second highest scoring wr for his highest scoring wr while his guy is on bye along with a top 12ish rb.
He countered Diggs and pierce for hill. Lol. Even though trade grade was in his favor with brown.

The Andrew's trade showed heavily for me so I'm not gonna even bother.

Thanks everyone for the input I really thought considering the playoff situation and bye situation that brown/pierce was super fair but guess not.
Trade offer sent. Let's see what happens.
2 division set up, 6 playoff spots, top 3 seeds in division go

Division 1:
10-0 (my team)
8-2
5-5
5-5 (his team) 71 overall points behind the 3 seed for tiebreaker
5-5
2-8

I'm playing the last place team in the other division (3-7)

He's playing the 3rd place team in the other division (5-5)
Is this a fair trade to offer, my Pierce and AJ Brown, for his Tyreek Hill on bye? Should I sacrifice the bench flexibility?

Full PPR

My team (10-0):
Hurts
Mixon
Pierce
Diggs
AJ Brown
Everett
Peoples-Jones

Bench:

Etienne - Bye
Godwin - Bye
Drake
Njoku
Dulcich
R. White - Bye

His team (5-5):
Jackson
A. Jones
Warren
Slayton
Valdes-Scantling
Andrews
D. Johnson

T. Hill - Bye
Metcalf - bye
Lockett - bye
J. Johnson

What are you talking about, yep...????

You do know that 100 meters is a different length than 100 yards right? Right?
quote:

That's not true at all though. You don't have to assume that at all.

You are literally making an argument comparing a situation where you miss the 2 pt conversion if you go for it early with a situation where you haven't gone for the 2 pt conversion yet. That is not a valid comparison. If you want to argue if you should go for it after the first td or the second, you need to look at it from the perspective of if you make the 2 pt conversion in both situations vs. if you miss the 2 pt conversion in both situations.
quote:

I would rather kick the XP and be down 8 (i.e. it's still a one-possession game despite what shel keeps arguing) than be down 9 with not enough time to get the ball back, score, get the ball back again, and score. If you go for the two first and don't get it, you've fricked yourself out of a chance to tie, whereas if you kick the XP early, it's still a one possession game and you can get the ball back with a chance to tie the game.

When you make this point you have to assume you miss the two point conversion after the second td to adequately compare the scenarios. I don't understand why this is so hard to understand.
quote:

I don't think you understand what a "1 possession game" is. Being down 8 points is a one possession game because you have the possibility of scoring 8 points without having to kick off to the other team. So whether or not it is difficult to score 8 is not the point. It is the fact that you have the possibility to.

Being down 9 is literally a 2 possession game. You can't score 9 points on one possession.

The problem is that when you frame the argument this way, you've assumed a missed conversion in the early argument and then framed it against the conversion not having been done yet for your go for it late argument. You're not comparing apples to apples

I also think the ending was trash no matter what kind of essay someone writes about it being good.

One of the best character driven writing ever. Such a great premise.

The mysteries were addicting and the internet was abuzz with trying to decipher it all.

It was an amazing time to be alive. Similar to the early seasons of Game of Thrones.

And just like GoT, Lost turned out to be a million mysteries with no real answers, plot hooks and plot holes and promises of answers to questions by people who had no fricking clue what the answers were.

In the end, the writers played every sympathy card and tugged at every heart string as hard as they could, in the hopes that the sheer tidal wave of emotion would flood people's brains with serotonin and make them forget about all those pesky plot holes and unanswered questions.

And it worked for some. But others, that had time to get over the image of Jack lying there staring at the sky as the faithful yellow lab lay down beside him, started to remember all those things that didn't add up. All those promises of answers to questions, still unanswered.

I am one of those people. So frick Lost.

And frick GoT

And frick Battlestar Gallactica.

All three played the same bullshite game, and it sucked.

After a recent re-watch, and having seen this basic sentiment in the past, can you describe what exactly wasn't answered that has driven you to hate the show?

You're comparing national to state deaths and you think that the state having more deaths helps your point?

Otherwise, carry on.

I took it as the "make up" for leaving out the hate crime/murder of the gay guy in the 1958 portion of the book. Two gay guys in 1958 go out to the fair and are gay bashed and thrown over a bridge. The one guy is killed by It and the way the murder was handled was probably very accurate for 1958 but would have caused boycotts in todays movie audience.

But it was changed significantly. Neither were killed by Pennywise.

I need to rewatch Chapter one.

It Chapter II: Plot
In 2016, Derry, Maine, Don Hagarty witnesses his boyfriend Adrian Mellon being murdered by Pennywise after a gang of homophobic youths beat them up and throw Adrian off a bridge while leaving the annual Derry carnival.

It the book:
In July 1984, at the annual Derry carnival, three youths brutally attack a young man named Adrian Mellon and throw him off a bridge. They are arrested and charged with murder when Mellon's mutilated corpse is found. One of the murderers claims that he saw an eccentric clown kill Mellon underneath the bridge. Adrian's boyfriend, Don Hagarty, the other victim in the attack, had also noticed the clown, but the prosecutors convince him not to mention it during the trial.
