Look up the 2011 Gator Bowl and Capitol One Bowl. Add up the scores that Michigan State and Michigan got beat by Alabama and Miss. ST simultaneously... by a combined score of 101 - 21
Stat is neat due to Proximity of all 4 schools

The last 2 times the big 10 appeared in a NC what happened? UF treated ohio state like they would treat Kentucky on a down year in 06. shite Kentucky beat the lsu team that destroyed the big 10 champ in 07 NC ha. Not to mention Notre dame is pretty much big 10, how'd they do against bama in 2012?
I just can't think of the last time a team around there would have been a top 3 team in the sec much less win it.

Nice graphic.
OP might also want to note for his inferior friends that the SEC plays more Power Five than any other conference, noting that the others all load their schedules with creampuffs.

Yw. Only conference with a winning record against the SEC? Big East
Just look at bowl alignments...it's always SEC 5th or 6th vs other power 5 conferences number 1 or 2.

Just tell them that UK is trying to schedule Ohio State instead of Ohio, looking for a gimme OOC game.

Tell them 8 sec west teams have atleast played in the national title game in the last 11 years. Then drop the mic

You could also state that the SEC bowl record is misleading. Because the SEC has had so many teams make the BCS Title game it has skewed the bowl games. Meaning…
SEC #1 goes to title game
#2 plays some other conferences #1 in a BCS game
#3 plays another conferences #1 in a next tier bowl
#4 plays another conferences #1 or #2 in a next tier bowl
So the SEC has historically been lower in our conference rankings than the teams the SEC plays in a bowl. But still the SEC has the best bowl record by conference.

Just tell them that the coach of one of their best teams, coming off of two consecutive B1G championships and rose bowl apperances, decided that fricking Arkansas was a better job.

They really aren't the best conference, it's just media hype.
Alabama 0-3-0 // Tide outscored tosu 75 to 33
1978 Sugar Bowl lost 06 - 35
1986 Kickoff Classic lost 10 - 16
1995 Citrus Bowl 17 - 24
Arkansas 0-0-0
2001 Sugar Bowl was vacated by Buckeyes
Auburn 0-1-1 // Tigers outscore tosu 31 to 14
1917 Montgomery, AL tied 00 - 00
1990 HoF Bowl lost 14 - 31
Florida 0-2-0 // Gators outscore tosu 65 to 31
2007 BCS Championship lost 14 - 41
2012 Gator Bowl lost 17 - 24
Georgia 0-1-1 // Dawgs outscore tosu 21 to 14
1993 Citrus Bowl lost 14 - 21
Georgia Tech (Buckeyes never played while member of SEC)
Kentucky 3-0-0 // Buckeyes last played the Cats when this thing called The Great Depression was going on
1895 Lexington, KY won 06 - 08
1919 Columbus, OH won 49 - 00
1935 Columbus, OH won 19 - 06
(Buckeyes still owe UK a return trip to Lexington)
Louisiana State 1-1-1 // Tigers gave up a close game but still outscores tosu 84 to 73
1987 Baton Rouge, LA tied 13 - 13
1988 Columbus, OH won 36 - 33
2008 BCS Championship lost 24 - 38
Ole Miss (Buckeyes never played while member of SEC)
Mississippi State (Buckeyes never played while member of SEC)
Missouri (Buckeyes never played while member of SEC)
On a side note, they have played 12 times with 10 games in Columbus and only 2 games in Columbia. Mizzou should demand 8 straight home games just to balance the scales.
Sewanee (Buckeyes never played while member of SEC)
South Carolina 0-2-0 // Cocks outscored tosu 55 to 35
2001 Outback Bowl lost 07-24
2002 Outback Bowl lost 28-31
Tennessee 0-1-0 // Vols outscored tosu 20 to 14
1996 Citrus Bowl lost 14-20
Texas A&M (Buckeyes never played while member of SEC)
Like Missouri, The Buckeyes owe 2 trips to College Station just to balance the scales.
Tulane (Buckeyes never played while member of SEC)
Vanderbilt 3-1-0 // Like UK, Buckeyes last played the Dores in The Great Depression
1908 Nashville, TN won 17 - 06
1909 Columbus, OH won 05 - 00
1931 Columbus, OH lost 21 - 26
1933 Columbus, OH won 20 - 00
(Buckeyes owe Dores 2 trips to Nashville to balance the scales)

Wisconsin has fried cheese
Arkansas has fried okra
Pretty sure Bert was just picking a state where they fry stuff and they had less snow.

Even the Midwest Press is down on them now. Perhaps you should hang out with more intelligent people. If I was a BIG fan right now, I wouldn't bring up any other conference.

Don't even engage on it. Just talk down to them like they're a minor league conference, which they are. They're not in competition with us, so don't act like it.

I'm looking for graphics, stats, articles, etc, that prove the SEC's worth
A couple off the top of my head:
Power at the top (BCSNCG wins/appearances):
SEC: 9/11 (one of two losses occurred when 2 SEC teams played each other)
Pac 12: 0/2 (would be 1/3 but USC's 2005 win vacated)
Big XII: 2/8*
ACC: 2/4*
Big East: 1/3*
Big Ten: 1/3*
*(based on conference affiliation at time games were played--as currently constructed, these conferences would have the following numbers:
Big XII 2/7
ACC 3/7
Big Ten 1/4)
With the most appearances, most wins and highest winning percentage, the SEC runs away with this.
Depth of powerhouse teams (number of different teams to appear/win in BCSNCG):
SEC: 5/5
Pac 12: 2/0 (would be 2/1 but USC's 2005 win vacated)
Big XII: 3/2*
Big Ten: 1/1*
ACC: 1/1*
Big East: 2/1*
*(Based on conference affiliation at time games were played, as currently constructed, these conferences would have the following numbers:
Big XII: 2/2
Big Ten: 2/1
ACC: 3/2)
With five different teams, all of whom have won at least once, (not to mention a 6th, Georgia, barely missing out at #3 in 2002/3), the SEC has easily the most powerhouse teams that have played for and won BCS titles. No other conference has had more than 3 teams appear in the NCG or more than 2 win it.
