Safety recognition is extremely important for a QB to be successful. It was JLee's main problem

JLee's main problen was dropping his eyes once his pocket got muddy.

Jax is RickiesDaddy's alter. He's been doing the same shite for years.

I havent talked shite about 1 player. Find one post

The thing I hate about you and people of your ilk around here, is that you criticism other people for supposedly denigrating players, but you turn around and do the same thing, and it's quite often about players that have performed extremely well.

No it dont. Ive never denigrated any lsu player. Find one post of me saying a lsu football wasnt good.
Saying certain players had bad games isnt denigrating. Its called reality.
quote:

No thanks to the QB play though............

Ok it was a top 5 defense and JJ threw the ball 13 times. He had a passing td.
quote:

Didn't Bama curbstomp LSU that year????? When the whole O-line basically gave up on their QB in the 4th quarter??? h yes THAT GAME... WTG Miles for keeping your team motivated.............

What does that have to do with Saban losing to a less talented team every single year?
quote:

So you're a stat box reader and not a game watcher? AKA a dumbass.

Right because facts dont mean shite when we can have your biased opinion.
quote:

The results say otherwise................

So one bad season out of the last 5 means Miles wasnt prepared?
quote:

Ok. But that means Miles didn't think ahead and recruit very well...

Which we know isnt true.
quote:

great regular season.... Then the SECCG happened.............

Yeah a 42-10 win.
quote:

But when it mattered most.... He failed BIGTIME... That's what he will be remembered for.....

Kind of like when Saban lost on Nov.5th when everyone was saying that that game was for a spot in the title game?
Or how about Saban losing to an auburn team that lsu curb stomped in 2013. All coaches lose on big stages. Even the best cfb coach of the modern era
quote:

Thanks.......... But what I say is true... LSU went 8-5 last year with talent that most teams and coaches would dream of....

Kind of like saban losing 5 games in 2002 with talent other coaches dream of?

No coach dreams of their entire offensive skill position players not having more than 2 games started under their belt. No coach dreams of playing the 4th most true freshman in the entire country
quote:

But OK JJ was great.............

No one is saying he is great.
quote:

. Tied for fifth in LSU history for career TD passes with 34, equaling Jamie Howard (1992-95) ... Is sixth in LSU history in career passing yards (4,733), sixth in completion percentage (58.7), sixth in career completions (398) and sixth in attempts (678) ... Accounted for 46 TDs during his career - 34 passing, 12 rushing ... Rushed for 1,018 yards and 12 touchdowns during his LSU career ... The 1,018 rushing yards ranks first among quarterbacks in school history and the 12 rushing TDs is fifth by a QB ... Holds the LSU single-season rushing record for a quarterback with 450 yards during the 2010 season.

You don't accomplish the above stats at a top 15 alltime program and suck your entire career.

Jennings didn't throw a pick in either game

We were talking about flynn in 07 against Kentucky and florida
quote:

Saban has been great at bama, but some of his seasons at LSU would have had the rant calling for his head.

Just think how unbearable this board would be if Miles' first seasons were
4 losses
3 losses
5 losses
1 loss
3 losses
Posters on this site act like Saban didnt have talent when he got here. Our 2001 team had more nfl talent than our 2013 team. That 2001 team had about 18-20 players that would eventually play in the nfl.

Les accels at QB development and evaluating

ACELLS- to speed up or accelerate

EXCEL- to do better, surpass,or to be superior
quote:

he'll never be a 5th year senior

Yeah youre right. I meant his final year of eligibility. My bad.
quote:

All of those had/have a much better arm than Jennings. His ceiling isn't nearly that high.

Arm strength isnt as important in cfb than it is in the nfl. The windows to throw the ball in cfb are far bigger than the windows in the nfl. Cfb is more about throwing your wrs open and having an accurate deep ball to back safeties off the line.
Dont get me wrong, you cant have a noodle arm but you also dont need anything above an average arm to be successful in cfb.
quote:

otball.
I wouldn't call either the UF or UK games "bad" on his part.

What?
In no way is less than 50% completion and as many ints as tds a decent game. We blast other lsu qbs with those stat lines.
quote:

Jennings can definitely perform at least to the level of Flynn

Why is that funny? Its not like Flynn was an alltime great at lsu.
Posters say JJ sucked his entire career and he has 2 season with a higher passer rating than Flynn in 07.
I think when Jennings is a 5th year senior he will be a decent qb.
Usually a cfb qb's biggest jump in production his after his sophomore year. Now im not saying Jennings will be great next season nor am i defending his play in 2014.

Never mind that he's put 3 into the NFL.

Im convinced that there are some lsu fans that would rather have an elite offense than a win.

Armed with a top 5 recruiting base

Armed with top 5 football facilities

Armed with the highest paid assistant coaching team in the nation

....and only has found 2 legitimate QBs in 10 years. Give it up for the man, Les MILEEEEEEEEESSSS!!

PUT him anywhere else and he's 8-4.........wait a sec, so are WE! But we're only here for the tailgating and sun belt blowouts

Well at least i know i can ignore anything you say about cfb now.
I never knew that developing qbs take precedent over wins and losses.
I guess thats why George Whitfield is the greatest cfb coach ever.
