That's fine.

Daniels doesn't have to be better than Corral to lead UGA to another National Championship this season.

We’ll see. He’s getting really, really strong word of mouth from inside the program.

Corral showed the most upside and had the best stats of all the returning SEC QBs, so I think he's the best of the bunch going into the year.

Bazelak is one that I can see having a big jump from last year to this year. He looked fundamentally sound and completed 67% of his passes last year, just didn't produce in terms of scoring points. If he can throw a few more TDs and maintain his completion percentage, he could be one of the biggest risers from the beginning to the end of the season.

I think the surprise of the year could be Bryce Young struggling out of the gate. He lost a bunch of playmakers off last year's team and he's young. This doesn't mean he'll be a disaster; after all, Alabama reloads with top tier talent every year. However when you lose all the guys that Alabama has over the past two years, you're in for something of a let-down at some point. Add in the loss of offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian, and I think Alabama's offense could struggle at times in 2021.

Weird to say it this way when you haven't won one in over 40 years.

I don't think we'll "struggle", but we will take a very big step back from 2018-2020. It will feel like a struggle after watching those teams

We will still have a very good O-line and stable of running backs, but it will take a bit for Bryce and the young WRs to get things going. With Metchie and Billingsley back I wouldn't be surprised to see a more old school West Coast look early on. Lots of quick throws and roll-outs. Less explosive, build confidence, that kind of stuff.

Let's just say that if we end up in a 2020 Ole Miss style game early in 2021 I will not feel very confident in winning.

KJ Jefferson for the Hogs will be a ton better than Brennan or Nix. He’s going to have some ridiculous WR weapons.

Definitely is probably not the appropriate adjective.

Arguably would be more appropriate.
Daniels was more efficient. Only had about 3 fewer pass attempts per game.

Cant go wrong riding either guy in the 1 spot, imo.

Brennan

what has he shown to be #3?

11 TDs to 3 INTs and 370.7 ypg... in only 3 games. Not bad throwing 40+ times a game. Had he played longer the rhythm with WRs would have picked up, as well as the completion %

The offense wasn't really the problem early. It was a god awful defense. Brennan is a stud.

That said, a year in the system and CLK getting his RebelBearShark playcalling legs under him, I expect Corral to light things up offensively.

Unless one of the young guys or a new scheme really come out ready to go OR he somehow completely implodes, Corral will be #1 QB in SEC next year.

Ole Miss returns it's top 3 rushers not named Corral and 4/5 of the OL so I expect Ole Miss to be a heavier run team next year and take some of the pressure off of Matt. Ole Miss needs a WR or two to step up and they can be just as dangerous as last season.

ah geez here we go. another person who would have ranked burrow outside the top 5 sec qb's going into '19

did you watch him when he played early 2020? he was really, really good. he's also not a statue. not corral but, not rothlisberger either

what the heck. there isn't a qb in the nation that will be a "ton better" than brennan. brennan isn't the best but, he's pretty darn good

there's not a team in the nation that will have a better wr corps than lsu. lsu is wayyyyyyy loaded at that position, even without gilbert.

hard to vote against corral. if he can cut down on the to's, he's really good and the system lets him sling it.

there's no way bama is going to not be good. they've had very little problems plugging new players in each year.

lsu's question mark won't be roster. it will be coaching. pretty big unknown how everything fits together at this point. the potential is there. plenty of nfl minds in the film room and a small army of analysts. just a question of the gears all working together

before the season the rant went on and on about how much "production" lsu had lost from '19. lsu fans tried to tell everyone the offense was going to be good, and it was. aside from a few series with tj finley. the d actually showed some signs of life later in the season. the talent will certainly be there. all things considered, orgeron wasn't horrible navigating the team through a pretty unprecedented amount of obstacles. finishing on a high note is a good sign

Speaking of Finley, where/when will he transfer? He was simply horrible that game

I wouldn’t put much credence into thoughts from LSU fans on young QBs. Remember, Brennan was well on his way to a Heisman prior to starting this past season. No drop off at all from Burrow.
