Damn. Y'all don't have him as a Heisman frontrunner yet?? LSU fans slacking on the off-season sunshine pumping.

I don’t think Bama has to worry about quarterback. Saban could throw his son in law in there and still manage to win ten games.

I wouldn’t put much credence into thoughts from LSU fans on young QBs. Remember, Brennan was well on his way to a Heisman prior to starting this past season. No drop off at all from Burrow.

Link to anyone saying this.

Anyone at all.

The hell you say. Corral derped it up to the tune of 5 and 6 ints in games last year. You can go wrong with someone like that.

How many national championships does Georgia have, I keep forgetting. It is confusing when you count the preseason ones and the postseason ones

4) Brennan - LSU
Did anybody see highlights of true freshman Maximus "Baby Burrow" Johnson play the end of the 2020 season?

Brennan, Johnson and TF Nussmeier.

Is LSU the new Auburn 2011. Yeah they were always clamoring about Cam 2.0 after a fluke season only to fire their coach a couple years later.

The help board is somewhere else. Y’all preached it all off-season leading up to this past season.

You guys are going to be relying on an inexperienced QB that couldn’t beat out shitty kellen mond for the #1 spot. King has had 1 Td and 1 int in his limited time playing. Those aren’t good numbers for the amount of time he played. I’ll take Max Johnson over king any day. 8 tds and 1 int in only 2 games as a starter and some garbage time at end of games where he would come in and take over for Finley

what has he shown to be #3?

60.3% 1112yds 11td 3int in 3 games. You can do the math over a 12 game season...

Mighty bold talk for a guy that was 3rd in the QB room for most of the season. If you give any of these guys a gameplan and opportunity you see more, much more. Had Brennan been healthy, Johnson would still be a complete mystery. As it is, still not much of a sample size.

He had over 1000 yards and 8 tds in garbage time and 2 starts as a true FRESHMAN. Really good numbers for that small of a sample size. He minimizes mistakes and throws a burrow like deep ball. Most of his incompletions were him and his wr not being on the same page. I expect his completion pct to go up next year due to having more time to work with his wrs and learn the playbook

You think that's good?

60% isn't at all good and 8 yards per attempt is nothing special.

For the sake of comparison, Mac Jones completed 311 of 402 for 77.4%, 11.2 yards per attempt, 41 touchdowns and 4 interceptions.

Bryce Young

He’s going to be up there simply for the reason that he’s going to have time to develop. He’s going to have all day to throw the ball with zero pocket pressure which will allow him to develop the skill of learning his reads and throwing to the right guy just like Mac did.

I like the Mac Jones story, but when people talk about him being the next Tom Brady, it’s a little premature. Mac had all day to throw the ball and a world class set of receivers to whom he threw it. I’ve read books in shorter time than it took him to throw the ball

Mac Jones' 2019 numbers were a lot more similar to Brennan's.

You know, when both were starting their first games.
